Still hurts

I did a FBW moday and its been 2 days and I am to do anouther FBW today but I'm not sure its ok becouse my mucles still ache when standing and tighening my mucles so what do you guys think?

Go for it. It's natural unless you have actual pain to the touch. What you've described isn't uncommon or dangerous. Once you get warmed up, you'll be good to go.

congrats!
your getting your noob pains!which can lead to noob GAINS
are you doing the "noob waddle"? lol!
well its really normal to be sore after doing your first couple of fullbody compound workouts.
just keep going 3 times a week. get warmed up and see how you feel. if you still feel really sore then decrese the weight a bit. your body will eventually get used to it.
make sure your diet is spot on. it influences how fast you recover HUGELY.

Agreed. But don't go crazy. Make the workout a bit less intense when you're still pushing on really sore muscles.

This is the reason I advocate upper/lower splits rather than FBW. You have significantly more rest time on this split, and you are still able to perform the same volume of work as a FBW.

but lower frequency. Rest has nothing to do with the split you choose, its about the intensity and volume of the training, if you cant recover from an FBW, its doesnt mean you have to change to an upper lower, just lower the volume and intensity. Besides, its normal to be sore the first days.

and do you mean same volume of work each session? because if so, you are missing out since the FBW allows for more frequency.

Same volume. I have to admit, I perform FBW a few times each year. Maybe 1 or 2 training cycles, only for variety. As I've always said, I am a proponent of the upper lower split because of the rest your are giving your muscle groups, and the ability to focus your energy, and your bloodflow.

I prefer devoting a maximum amount of blood flow to my muscles while I work out. While peripheral heart action typically burns more calories/fat, I'm looking for maximum muscular development. The best way to achieve that is to flood the traumatized muscle with nutrient rich blood. The more muscles traumatized during a workout, the more spread out the blood has to be. It should also be said though that I don't condone body part splits for anyone but true body builders.

The blood flow is one of the major motivators for me to opt into an upper/lower split.

Long story short, I want to devote as much energy and blood as I can when I lift, that's why I upper/lower split.

THANKS GUYS I JUST WENT WITH IT check out what I did

3X10-Stiff leg deadlifts
2X8-Chin-ups
2X10-dumbell military presses
2X10-dumbell shoulder presses
3X10sec-leglifts
2X10-External rotator on knee

I was planing to to 3X10 to all but my body once agian did not agree(lol)
reason why I only did 2X10 for the military presses and the shoulder presses is becouse I once I got to 5 in a set it felt like my arm were on fire! so for those I went with 2X10.As for the Chin-ups and the External rotator on knee
I did 2X8 for chin-ups becouse my arms were on fire when I got done with
2X10 and for External rotator on knee I stoped I 2X10 cuz for some reason when I was done I got a cramp in my left leg

good job.
but why did you do 2x10 military press AND 2x10 shoulder press?
pick one please :D
you dont want to overwork your deltoids. they are already worked like crazy with an overhead press, not to mention benching too.

oh sorry PB when you gave me the workout I asumed to do both becouse it did not say pick one so I asumed I had to do both anyway there no turning back now I alredy did the workout yesterday but I will be aware now that I'm spossed to do one

yea lol i said to do military press and i was looking for a video but all i could find was shoulder press(the sitting version).

its ok though; the volume wasnt extreme so you'l be fine if you dont do it again ;D

When you guys are talking about the bloodflow. Someone in my gym told me not to do FBW and switch to a split because he says that the blood gets the most attention where the workout is targeted. So he says ill gain more muscle that way.

All I know is i recover with a FBW because I eat at a caloric surplus. So is this person really speaking the truth, because as far as I know muscle is made in the kitchen doesnt matter what kind of lifts u do.

do ya mean to never do the military press and shoulder press ever agian or do you mean just do one next time I do workout B PB

he means just do one. I notice you didn't do benching on there, I would switch it up with the two overheads in there. Do a different one of those each workout for variation.

dave, he has a routine. that is one of two workouts he rotates, so he is getting as much horizontal push and pull as verticle. no worries.

i meant only do one of them >< lol

rock on! im glad your enjoying your workouts. i love lifting as well. nothing compares!

and im diggin your signature. be happy your a noob though! noobs get noob gains! noob gains are awesome!

wait so your saying the more mucle I gian the harder it will be to gain more...
if thats true I don't care, what would be the point if it were easy and thanks PB

p.s.-I'm starting to get addicted to working out, everytime I do a workout I get sad cuz then I have to wait till the next one:bncry:
