Sticking to it!

I'm really trying tone up at the moment but keep getting lazy with the exercise and giving myself days off. My main source is the Davina Workout DVD I've used it before and it really works just need to get back into it. I also have a Wii Fit which I use occasionally. Basically I think if I say what I aim to do on here I'll feel more guilty if I don't do it, therefore more determined
:)

Sunday – Wii fit at least 30 minutes
Monday - Davina DVD
Tuesday – Davina DVD
Wednesday – Davina DVD
Thursday – Davina DVD
Friday – Davina DVD
Saturday – Wii fit at least 30 minutes or day off (I work on saturdays and am constantly running up and down stairs)

If I take a day off I'm more likely to get into the habit of taking one more day off etc etc so hopefully only taking one day off on a saturday if I'm really tired should be ok.

Wish me luck. I'll keep you updated with my progress!

Ok not quite sure if anyone is reading this but thought I would post anyway :)
Have done my 30 minutes Wii Fit today and might go and do some more in a bit if I have time. I did 10 minutes hula hoop and then focused the rest on muscle training as I will be primarily doing cardio during the week.
So far so good!

I like it, it has quite a few muscle exercises which I can really feel working. The cardio section isn't great but the 10 minute hula hoop can get me working up a sweat if I really go for it. When it first came out I used it nearly everyday and it definitely made a difference.

Any Idea on the cost of this unit.... Does games come with it?

Gimmie info..... Hehehehehehehehehe

Moment of weakness, wanting a Pop Tart! Haha I've been hungry all day today, my stomachs rumbling but I don't like eating this late :(

Hey Kirsty I also have a wii fit. I love mine. The yoga poses kick my butt though lol. Did you eat the pop tart? If not good for you if you did no big deal just move on and maybe do an extra hula hoop lol. If you don't mind me asking what are your stats like height weight all of that lovely stuff. Well I hope your having a good day and I'll check beack in here to support you and hopefully make a new friend.

Hey! No I haven't yet and intend not to lol still hungry but I pefer going to bed on an empty stomach rather than being full so think I'll just wait till the morning. I love the yoga, muscle exercises and hula hoop!

I'm 19 weigh about 126 lbs and 5'5. I'm mainly aiming to tone up and just eat more healthily rather than loose lots of weight. I had trouble with my weight when I was younger and eventually lost 3 stone but as I lost the weight I never did any exercise so don't have a lot of muscle.

Good luck with your weight loss! And thanks for the support :)

Thought I'd just let everyone know I did my 30 minutes of my workout DVD and also did 15 minutes on the Wii this morning despite being in a rush. Now off to dance the night away woop!

Done another section of the DVD today - super sculpt if anyone is familiar with it (interval training). Only did about 15 minutes but I feel this is an accomplishment after only 3 hours sleep! I intend to do another half hour later.
:hurray:

Just did another 15 minutes and some sit ups :) would have done more cardio but not feeling too good after a very late night. Just need to keep this up for the rest of the week.

Not sure if anyones reading this but it helps if i write down what I've done :)
Just did my 30 minute cardio workout, gonna do my abdominal routine later.

My food diary for today should be:

Breakfast: Bowl of Weetabix with semi-skimmed milk
Muller Vitality Yoghurt

Lunch: Chicken and Vegetable Soup\

Dinner: Chicken Wrap with Side Salad - no dressing (eating out but I checked the nutritional info and this is one of the healthiest choices)

And if i get hungry in-between a whole-meal pitta and humous and cucumber - yummy!

Plus lots of water :)

Hey there! I get what you mean with taking a day off from working out... it turns into 3 turns into 4, 5 aaaaahh!

So yes, I am also on this site for accountabilty. Don't worry about people reading your stuff, just keep writing and the readers will come! You are doing it for yourself after all, so just do it!

I think I would get bored with doing a DVD over and over... hmmm, haven't really tried exercise dvds though, so wouldn't know.

Well, have a great day, and DO have that pitta hummus combo, your eats look like very little to me!

Hey :) Yeah I am starting to get bored with it but I'm at uni 4 days a week so its just something I can do in my room. The gym is way to expensive and there's not much in the way of exercise I can really do around here so it will do for now. Could always buy a different one and alternate.
I eat more but thats what I was sure I would probably eat, it changed anyway lol my friend decided she wanted to go nandos so I had a chicken breast in pitta with a huge side salad. Then just had a bowel of cereal. I prefer to snack alot rather than eat 3 big meals.
Thanks for the support :)

I find that keeping a journal really keeps you accountable. Even if there aren't awhole lot of people posting, it still helps you. Plus, many people read it even if they don't post! I did really well when I had my first journal, but life got in the way and I stopped :/

What are these Davina workouts? For me, working out at home is too distracting and so easy to just put off. I use hoem workouts sometimes, though.

Also, does your university have a gym? I thought most did haha.
