I was talking with my best friend and he told me something that almost sent me in shock. He basically said that all bodyduilders esppecially those like ronnie coleman at yates that they took steriods.

:eek: :eek: I said, no way, but he said that in order to change their genetic makeup they have to take serious drugs ..... My question is is it true? Any comments would be greatly appreciated.
 
There are two type of tournaments: regulated and unregulated.

It's pretty much guaranteed that all competing in the unregulated are on steroids. It's the only way they can be competitive against other steroid users.
 
The only 100% natural bodybuilders...make a HUGE DEAL out of telling everyone they are natural.

Ronnie, Arnold, Dorian, Markus, Nassir, Jay....all roid-heads.

i mean, bodybuilding is NOT a fitness competition...its really a beauty pagent. so most competitions like Mr. Olympia...no drug testing.

NOw, I had read taht Lee Haney was natural, but also that he's got a genetic defect where his body doesn't produce enough myostatin, which is what tells your body to stop repairing/building up muscle. so as long as he lifted and ate, his body would just grow and grow.
Dont' know how truthful that is though.
 
And steroids do NOT change your 'genetic makeup' lol.. And although steroids do help them a considerable amount, that doesn't take away from their hard work and dedication.
 
wow, i have to say that i was in total shock after admiring these guys and having a little desire to have their achievement, Im sure you can understand my let down. I was like "whoa"............... oh well as they say "nothing is what it seems i guess." Thanks for the comments, really enjoyin this site, just signed up.... One of these days Ill post a pic of some sort.
 
yeah, ever heard Ronnie speak? I've heard singers from the Vienna Boy's Choir with deeper voices than his.

(keep in mind, the Vienna boys choir used to castrate 10 year olds to prevent testosterone during puberty from ruining their soprano section....but, they're all a bunch of monks and stuff, so what do they really need their jewels for?)
