I've just had THE BEST three days EVER. Did a volcano hike in the most beautiful place I've ever seen. Can't wait to show you guys pictures!! feeling pretty skinny now haha :D

By the way. It's 5 am here in indo. Been awake for a while coz I'm too hungry to sleep! My last meal was yesterday at 1pm and I'm soo looking forward to Breakfast!! Why am I starving might you ask. Well, I got to my homestay around 8pm last night and it's in the middle of a very dark nowhere. Wanted to venture out last night but it was way too scary. That's what happens when you book accommodation in advance! Live and learn! Luckily it was only for one night!

Hello from the paradise that is Gili Air. This is the most beautiful place I've ever been to! I can't wait to show you guys pictures. I can't believe I'll be back in Europe in just over a week!! Eating well really hasn't been an issue here, which again confirms that when I'm happy I feel in control. Tropical climate is definitely for me!!!

I haven't been moving (swimming or running) as much as I would like though coz last week I fell with a scooter whisky driving to a beach and messed up my leg a bit. Nothing too serious but the wounds need to heal and it's a bit painful to swim and stuff.

Sounds awesome! Careful with that leg and swimming in unknowm water - don't want it to get infected or anything.
 
Hello guys!

Here is literally a tiny glimpse of the beauty that I saw and experienced in Indonesia :) I am soo going back there!

So I've been at home for a week and a half now and my eating has been terrible but trying to get it under control now. It's such a strange feeling coz it's like I automatically translate being back here to eating crap (most probably because I used to eat crap i.e. white bread, mayo, chocolate growing up, white bread in particular is the staple of the Polish diet so I'm slowly trying to get myself back on track) Me and my sister have decided to do a sugar detox and been pretty successful ( we are on day 3 :D) and to kill cravings we've been eating frozen banana nice cream (amazing stuff :D). I've done some walking coz been going on 3h walks with my 3month old nephew but done no REAL exercise for a good while now. I feel like I need to get my eating under control first though and getting back on here is gonna no doubt help :). I'm feeling fat and tired, no wonder considering WHAT I've consumed over the last 10 days but I'm ready to start treating myself with more kindness again.

I've had two wisdom teeth removed today so I'm pretty sore and a bit hungry, which is a kinda welcome feeling :D

I now shall have a look what's been going on here :D
 
O wow, that's amazing. 3-hour walks sound like exercise to me (at least that's what people keep telling me) and sugar detox with moral support from your sister is a great idea!
 
OOOOOoooo... pretty pictures! I have another place to add my list of vacation destinations that I'll never go to because it requires getting on a plane and flying over water. haha! :p

Got back from my south american adventures a month ago.

Need to lose weight :D feeling pretty positive about getting rid of this wobble.

Today:

Breakfast: banana + strawberries + rice milk smoothie + 2 boiled eggs

Mid-day snack : plain youghurt and more strawberries

Lunch: boiled potatoes, couliflower and beans

Going for a run later. Maaaaan, after 8 months of no running I've been slowly getting into it again - hoping to finally run a full 5k this evening.

Missed you guys! Hope all is well!!

Travel is wonderful. I need to find a way to maintain that sense of energy & wonder that you get when you experience new cultures & new & exotic places. We just got back from a trip to Sri Lanka & it was wonderful!
 
Sending you lots of positive vibes dear Cate!!! Sri Lanka is defo on my list! I found coming back hard and finding relief in spending as much time in nature as possible. I hope you're well! I'll have a look at your diary later and see whats been happening.

Yesterday I did my first 5k without stopping and then topped it up with another 2k :D Took me a month of painful running to get back to this point so I'm feeling super proud of myself.

Today's food:

Breakfast: banana + strawberries + rice milk smoothie, one boiled egg, some cottage cheese and some almonds

Snacks: bananas and strawberries hah

Lunch: a slice of wholegrain bread with some halumi cheese and gherkins (god i love gherkins :D)

Did quite a lot of walking with my little nephew today and going jogging later on.

Second day with no sugar nearly done!!!

Third day sugarless done!!!! woop woop!

Today saw the typical breakfast, lots and lots of strawberries during the day (they are in season yum yum!!!) and an indian takeaway for lunch (which btwwas a massive failure with the family hahah, seems like indian does not appeal to the polish palate...I on the other hand loved it :D but thats coz I lived in the UK for so long and curry is pretty much a national dish there :D).A takeaway is obviously not ideal when one is trying to fit back into a suitcase full of last year's clothes but I (obviously) had the veggie options and a just-right portion of rice and naan. Didn't really eat anything apart from strawberries in the evening (feeling a bit peckish now but will kill that with a fruit tea before bed) so I think all is good in the hood.

Went for a family walk today which was actually really lovely. In the evening I went for a jog. Still struggling but slowly getting there. Hoping to run a half marathon on august 20th. I nearly stayed at home but was scrolling through FB and saw lots of running related posts so got out there too. They sometimes work.
