i am also thinking about joining a gym by my house my neighbor works at. hes a PT there & i know some others that work there as well. my neighbor tony has been giving me advise on what i should be doing currently with my weight loss plan. his idea is to start lifting so i can build muscle that will help depleate the body fat better & less chance for plateau to come. i agree & want to take on this challenge. im very excited. i used to powerlift back in highschool as a freshman. that was 8 yrs ago! lol im not nearly as strong as i used to be. heres what my 3 rep max were: bench=90 lbs, squat=135 lbs, & deadlift=205 lbs. i had hit a plateau & stopped at these weights. i also wasnt putting on the muscle like i was supposed to probally because my diet was poor & i lacked what lifters need to be strong & add muscle. the next year after this i injured myself really badly trying out for soccer & had an acute muscle spasm for over a week in practically my whole body. my muscle enzymes were thru the roof & ever since that injury i havent gained my strength back. a few yrs after high school when i was the ripe age of 20, i develpoed fibromyalgia. i am here today trying to get back in shape kick this weight off & get strong & buff. i dont want my illness to keep my down. i want to succeed & not think about illness unless it taps me on the shoulder. i am determined!
