Steady State Cardio and HIIT question?

Hello, I'm curious if this is a bad idea.

I go to the gym in the mornings and do most of my weight training and steady state cardio at that time.

I was curious if I could start HIIT in the evenings. The object for me is to bulk up and lose fat.

Is this a bad/good good plan? Doing the HIIT in the evenings?

I do not wish to lose the benifts and hard work I put in HIIT if screw around in the mornings with steady state cardio. So will both of those conflict in anyway? I'm just looking for ways to shed extra calories.

What is your opinons?

In my opinion (which is supported by some facts :) ) steady state cardio is good in the morning on an empty stomach. HIIT is better when you're not in a fasted state...so the evening is fine.

Just keep tabs on your progress and how you feel. If you start feeling 'ragged', slow down. you might be over training.
