Starting to work out question

Hello
so i've just recently got the motivation to start getting healthier and working out, but because i've had social anxiety disorder for a couple of years i haven't been out the house much and spent a lot of time playing games and just generally not being very active

would it be unhealthy to start making my body work out, should i introduce myself to it slowly or go and see the doctor?

I ask because the anxiety over the years has effects on the heart, i didn't want to randomly get a heart attack

I have an unrelated question. How did you post this ? I'm trying to start one to ask for advise and post a pic but idk how To. And for the record, go to the doctors and have a physical done. Make sure your pretty healthy. Start searching on the web as to what you are looking for/ to do, working out wise. Whether it be dieting to what work outs are best. It'll help.

ok thanks
and click forum at the top, choose which sub forum your thread would fit into, then there is a blue box that says post new thread

gloamglozer,

First, I want to say kudo's on your commitment to start getting healthier and working out. It's tough enough working out in public WITHOUT some of the issues you've mentioned. A nice start might be to find a good at-home workout. That's how I started my weight loss journey. There are many good programs out there that can help you get started.

Yours truly
Mike "Lighter" Leiter
