I have been battling the urges to binge lately and i find that very frustrating. I know it is partially from being stressed about the diabetes 1 diagnosis along with not sleeping enough. *when i am fatigued..all i want to do is eat*
I have still been able to identify my triggers and distract myself though. * i phoned a friend tonight on my way home to avoid stopping it at any fast food places, I told her i was on my way home, and it should only take me 10 min. She knew that was me saying, dont let me go, until you know i am home.* We set up this plan a while back, and it has proven to be very successful in getting me through some bad binging possibilities.
I have really been working on eating food that is giving me the nutrition i need and that is helping me.
I got home late tonight because i met a friend for coffee ( i am proud of him, because after 35 years of smoking 3 - 4 packs a day, he is trying to quit, and he said he is doing it to show me that I can change my habits too~ he made me cry, what a great friend*
anyways...once home, I had tuna on low fat/sugar crackers with 1 tbsp low fat mayo, green onions, celery and dill, One sliced apple, water

& worth a pretty penny. Low Fat Cottage cheese is just filled with SALT
