Starting over (and over and over)

Sooooo many temptations this weekend!!!!!, My boyfriends birthday (which thankfully turned out well) was a BBQ with way too much food, Then i went to a friend's granny's B-day... more great food, though i didn't eat as much that time.
It was a fun weekend though, and today I am back on track.

Breakfast: melon and banana fruit salad, cottage cheese, water

Lunch : salmon, salad, and melon

Dinner: Don't know yet

Michelle

Hello Michelle,

Mmm Salmon

I am well thanks! ;) Bedtime soon though. I have family in Langley, supposed to be quite a few. Saw them once or twice when I was little. I've been to Vancouver only a couple of times, last time was last October. I would really like to go back and explore everywhere!! I really enjoyed that trip.

I am glad you didn't get a shot in the bum...:leaving: haha durrrr

Talk ta ya lata

Hey there RunningGirl, you should come back out this way, there are sooooo many places to explore... from the big city to eclectic little towns... Ive lived here all my life and im STILL exploring..lol

Today, I had an all day seminar, and I should have started out with a good breakfast, but was running late. *** OK, I slept in***, Anyways... Grabbed a banana while running out the door and then had water and coffee at the seminar.

Lunch: they served us Caesar salad and mini chicken pot pies, quite good, water

Went swimming for 1 hour with a friend after work

Went for a steamed milk with almond flavor and some break pudding

Dinner: vegetarian tacos (white beans, carrot, onion, taco seasoning, ground round, lettuce, low fat cheese and salsa) In 3 taco shells
Salad

Snack: 1 cup cantelope

I had to laugh because Dan happened to read over my shoulder as I was typing my post and he said..." Our tacos were vegetarian????" I said yeah, I put in veggie ground round.
He was a little surprised, though he is great with trying vegetarian dishes, I do usually tell him when we are eating that way. Oh well... he said he liked it, little fake meat wont kill him.

veggie ground round is a meat substitute (looks like ground beef) that is made of veggies. I dont care for it by itself, but its great in a sauce, or tacos. Just needs to be heated through.

I will need to give it a try as far as texture ya think i could handle it?

Ok - today I managed to get up in time to make a proper breakfast *yay* And I am bringing my swimming stuff to work with me and will try to go to the pool after work.

Last night I went to my monthly 'Girls night' and we all sat around a big fire and cooked hotdogs, smores and even camp fire blueberry pie. Needless to say I didn't really follow much of a diet plan..but did have fun with my friends. I think thats important too. *Ill stick to that excuse for now*
This morning, after being out late, managed to get up at 7am *yuk* and did my aqua fit power class *1 1/2 hrs, 45min deep water 45 chest high. It was a really great class and I felt good after. Spent the day with a friend, and did pretty well with my eating choices.

Stayed up late late last night, so today I am dragging my ass just a little. *ok, a lot* Dan's mom is coming over for supper tonight, so we are just getting things pulled together for that. He took me out for brunch today, which was very sweet, and I did behave. :D yay me!

Brunch: Went to a Mexican Restaurant (I know, not typical brunch food) Seafood enchilada with tomatillia sauce, and a Salad (said no to the rice and refried beans) Soda Water with Lime
On the way home I grabbed a latte *2%milk*
Dinner for tonight will be:
Lamb leg steaks (lean cuts)and Corn on the cob BBQ'd (which is good cuz it means Dan is cooking),coleslaw with sunflower seeds, cilantro and apples, in a Vinaigrette (my part in the cooking which involves no heat...perrrrfect)
I have not made a dessert, Think I may just make a fruit salad with yogurt for that.

Ok, I WILL be exercising more this week, and am actually looking forward to it. *I was told by a friend that I need to write or say things as a fact not a possibility.* So, no more sentences starting off with "I am going to try to eat better this week

I am the queen of saying im going to TRY to do better. I AM exercising and eating better! I AM Rich....ok, thats pushing it :)

Welll our minds are pretty funny things. The logic behind pretending that you already have/are what you want/ to be, is that your subconscious mind starts getting the message, and then sends sunconscious signals for you to actually want to do the things that will get you to where you are visualising. :D

Did that make sense?? :ack2:
