Starting over (and over and over)

Got up this morning at 6;50am and met my girlfriend for extreme aqua fit. 45 min deep water 45 min chest high, was a great work out, I actually sweated in the pool.. woo hoo. Went for breakfast and had 2 scrambled eggs, 2 toast with jam and 1 cup melon. My friend then helped me take four million loads of laundry to the laundromat (washing machine decided to quit) My friend stayed and helped. Dan took me out for sushi when i got home
Ate a veggie combo, spicy tuna roll and miso soup.
So far its been a pretty positive day for me
 
Its almost 1:30am and I should have been in bed a coule hours ago. Went out with a friend this evening and had a chicken Caesar salad. (dressing on the side) was good and I used very little dressing. We then went over to starbucks and had a tea. I was feeling very munchy when i got home but chose to have a glass of water and then brush my teeth. Sounds weird, but it seems to help distract me a bit.

Got up this morning around 10am and made an egg white omelet with Low fat turkey sausage (30g) 1/2 oz cheddar, 2 cups salad and toast, 1 cup mango juice mixed with 1 1/2 cups water.
Am meeting up with a long lost friend this afternoon, we havent seen each other in about 7 years, so it should be great.

Hey there brawny, nice to see you.....I need to wrestle that bull to the ground!!! but today was pretty good actually, was doing my best to pay attention to what I was eating/drinking. I am on weight watchers, but have not been writing down my stuff as much as I should be, am working on doing better with that though. I hope you had a great day - Michelle
 
Breakfast: banana, 2 egg white omelet with 1/2 oz cheese, 1 toast with jam, water

Lunch: low cal brushetta, orange, water

Snack - pickles, 6 saltines, 1/2 oz cheese

Snack - peanut butter on 1 piece toast

Dinner - vegetarian sushi roll combo 1 spicy salmon roll, miso soup, 1 can coke

 
Your food for the day would leave me feeling hungry :) :ack2:

Well, the brushetta was actually quite big as was the sushi combo. Sounds lighter than it is...lol. I had a bagel b.e.l.t from tim hortons this morning, that would fill you up. ;)
I am making sure i meet my weight watchers points... but at times could make better choices.

Yesterday all I could think about was eating, OMG, it drove me nuts. I kept it fairly undercontrol, today feels a bit better. I ate a bigger breakfast, and as a result i havent been thinking about food here at work. I had a snack at 10am (ate breakfast at 6:45am) and I still feel satisfied. Today I am way more aware of how much water I am drinking as well (making sure im drinking enough)
 
OMG, I hate it when all I can think about is food. It happened the first few days I was starting off and it drove me INSANE. I swear I wanted to eat everything in the kitchen, and I would have if weren't for the fact that I'm dedicated to this. Sigh. Well wish ya luck with the temptation. Almonds, protein, water, blueberries - all good for curbing temptation.

Isn't it awful when food becomes all consuming???? I am trying little tricks to smack the temptations in the backside..lol. Your suggestions are great, thanks very much, I will try them :D

I did so much better today with regards to wanting to eat everything and anything. I think one of the big things was that yesterday I did NOT drink enough water. Today I really have been drinking steadily throughout my day and I felt less desperate and I was less tired. Yesterday i felt exhausted all day.
Dinner tonight:
Pork tenderloin baked with apples
wild rice
Asparagus and Carrots
water and diet 7-up
 
Hehe, ok to be honest I don't even know what Bruschetta is, so maybe I was a little hasty... or hungry!

I also have weird days where I CAN NOT get the food off my mind. Usually it's when I am supposed to be working on / worrying about other things though!

Well done for monitoring yourself and listening to your body. It's a rocky road to being ultimately healthy, but we're learning, right!?

Mmm I always think a meal tastes sooo much better after a great work out!! Don't you? And freak n' frack, tried to get sushi yesterday and they were out....booo hooo's
