Starting gym soon

Hey all, havn't been on in some time, but let myself slip a bit. Been on vacation a bit and have gained some weight.

I'm now 190lb at 5ft 11" and i'm a 32" waist, I play football (5-a-side) with some mates once a week and tennis from time to time and have recently took up a bit of football freestyle. I'm also at college at the moment and have to work part-time on the side...

I'm from uk by the way. Anyway I want to get some muscle to my body at the minute I wouldn't call myself lean but not quite overweight either.

Neither of these photo's were taken while tensed, only while relaxing my muscles.

I just need some idea of what I should be doing to help get a good body and fitter. Diet and excercise, and will hopefully be joining a gym soon.

Anyone have some advice such as whether as whether I shoud start by cutting or bulking or just start training and eating usually.

Just read this article from T-Nation

Really interesting and I just found out my BF is :18.3%. A quote from the article says:

"So what if you're at 13% body fat and don't have that much muscle? Should you bulk up? No! You should go down to 10% then gradually increase your nutritional intake until you reach a point where you're gaining 1.5 to 2 pounds per month."

So im considering cutting my body fat to 10% then gradually starting to bulk, what you guys think. Have a read through its explained a lot to me.

I don't mind being quite thin, untill the bulking stage, Just need some advice on cutting and where to start.
