Starting @ 225lbs and a few recent shots (in betw/s)

My Goodness you look sensational! I would never guess that those two pics were of the same person. Totally different look!

However, drinking Guinness doesn't make you look stupid...it is its own food group! It is proof that God loves us and wants us to be happy!

Millions of us Irishmen can't be wrong! The only thing better is Beamish, but sadly I haven't found it around here.

That is one thing I do miss...good beer mmmm beer... (I'm not having any until I'm in the 230's).

How tall are you?

I am 5'2" and 222 and :( I am just starting out by cutting back on my portions, going with lower fat options and doing moderate exercise at the gym, cardio and light weight lifting.

I will have to check out TJ max for sports bras, I am a 40DD. I have been layering my sports bra with a tank top with a bra in it and a t-shirt at the gym. It's time to get a better bra though, thanks for the tip.

I look forward to my own progress and congratulations on your own.

I LOVE the respect Guinness is getting around here!!!

As for all you girlies talkign about really good supportive sports bra's. On Champion's website they have some awesome sport's bras... they're not cheap but worth every penny... offer great support and they even make them big enough for my Boobies!

Awww thanks, David. If you think about it, you're actually not far from your goal weight of 230 at all. :D You're doing so well already with the 14 lbs loss! WOOT! I personally think you should make that your motivation to reach 230: rewarding yourself with a nice cold beer. (Regardless of what people say about now rewarding oneself with food/ drink.) That's if you want to. However, if it will make you feel any better, both me and Jenna will slam down a beer once you reach 230. We're willing to a "beam for the team." ha!

Thank you very much, Chacha girl. First off, welcome to the WLF. Height wise, I am just pushing 5'1". (I'm blame that on being part Chinese... haha) As for as your plan to lose weight, you'll most definitely see results once your body kicks everything into high gear. Just be patient is all. :) Also, start a diary/journal here at the site, not only for accountability, but to also have crazies like myself drop in and leave support, advice, and motivation throughout your weight loss journey. haha As for your "transformer like bra"... girl, I used to do the same damn thing! HA! Let's here for the girls with the big tetas! hahaa Wishing you the best, girly.

Look at you being the spokesmodel for Champion Mega Booby Sports Bras. I'm so proud of you! LOL Also girls, check out ebay. People are always selling NWT (new with tag) sports bras: Champion, Everlast (These are awesome also), Nike, Adidas, etc.....

:] definitely let me know when you head up there! I haven't been there yet but my friend renee is a total vertex freak, she's there like every weekend and has been begging me to come.

Where in the world do you buy corsets? I've wanted one ever since I can remember but haven't the foggiest of where to get one. I want one of the really silly looking ones. Yanno, lace up and lace and all that jazz. haha, I'm sure the boyfriend would love that. yeah, I'm shutting up now! :rolleyes:

I don't know how I missed this part of your post!! Apparently, my "where do I get my next BEER-radar" must be suppressed by the lack of hops in my bloodstream, lol.

Sheryl, you are very lucky that the slimming did only good to your assets /if you know what I mean/:cool: . I definitely see mine facing down. :doh: I will try to learn from your experience how to take care of them.

I just wanted to thank everyone for their kind compliments. It really has motivated me to work even harder in wanting to achieve my goal weight. (140, but there's a possibility of changing that once I get closer.... :D)
