Started exercising at the local gym tonight.

A place called Cardinal Fitness has just come to my area. I have always been into losing weight and looking good. Tonight I just went to check things out. It's really a nice place, but I have a question.

Is there a specific routine I should follow to assist in weight loss? I mean of how I should do things. Should I start off with weights first and then hop on the bike? Today I just tried out all the machines and jumped on some of the bikes, but would really like to develop a sort of routine to get into to help lose about 20 pounds in 3 months. Is that even a reasonable goal? If not could anyone suggest one as I think this will work out better if I have a goal in mind.

how much you weigh now?

i know if i stick with my diet i could lose 20lbs in a month and ahalf, but i am concider over weight still so it is expected of me to lose that much that fast.
 
Madison I am currently at 300. I really don't have a specific eating routine yet either. I have taken out all the sweets and are eating more fruits, but I don't have a steady diet. I will be checking into diets within the next couple of days.
