Oh Stace, you have no idea how happy i'm going to be to start going to the gym!! It's too bad that hubby won't tag along, but I can understand him being tired after work- that's why i decided to sign up for the private one upstairs rather than the one at the community centre down the street. Once I'm in car after my shift, I just realize how tired I am, and I just keep driving towards home. But I'll be there in spirit if you ever feel like you need someone to tag along with you.

Today started off late, I slept in and had a slow start, but made it outside eventually for long enough to enjoy the sunshine. I took my dog for our daily walk (everyday for 1 hour) around a local lake, then headed off to meet a friend.
I packed some almonds and an apple in my purse, and when we did stop to get some food, I chose a chicken salad over a burger and fries so yay me!
I had school tonight, so I didn't get much time to do anything else. Tomorrow will be more of a better schedule... I'm hoping

Well, well, well... So I opened up a Fit Day account so that I could keep track of what I've been eating. It ain't good. Well, today certainly wasn't, but I wasn't very well organized. Let's just put it this way- take-out is nobody's friend. Has anyone seen Freaky Friday? The remake with Lindsay Lohan and Jamie-Lee Curtis that came out a few years back? There's an awesome line from JLC when she and LL are in the car and LL, in her mother's body is chowing down on french fries and JLC is all like, "Hey, stop it! Those will go straight to my thighs! But you on the otherhand..." Yeah... that's me. Except I don't have someone to switch bodies with that will let me chow down on junk. So looks like I'm just going to have to work better to cut it out.
Basically, I'm eating way too much carbs- 49% of what I ate today was all carbs. egooooooo... I will admit though, I skipped out on the weekly pub night of beer and wings with my friends, not that I'd drink the beer because I'm always the driver, but those wings are deadly when they're only 5 cents each.
I've made a wrap for lunch tomorrow, I'm going to try to find something here to make for breakfast before I leave for work so that I dont' swing into the bakery like this morning for croissants.
Okay, I have to work all day tomorrow, and it's past midnight- so off to bed I go! Hope everyone is awesome
