Heya's Stan,
Holy cow you 2 walking in the rain lol I got 1/2 way through
tonight before it decided to pour on me and my dog lol the funny
thing is my dog kepy stairing back and giving me this weird look like
I was pouring the water on him lol! We only got in 2 miles I don't any
sickness to keep me down.CONGRATS for 6.3 miles thats a kick azz
walk.Keep up the great work and boxing ;) ,have a gr8 weekend

my friends down the road i grew up with lived under some lines and had a huge power tower in their back yard. It was horribly noisey when wet and used to always freak me out too.

I always wondered if thats why their family was so angst all the time though hehehe
 
Wow Stan over 6 miles.... that is fantastic... and gorging on celery! I can think of worse and I "hate" celery. Well unless it has globs of peanut butter on it, then that takes away the healthy aspect of it! Keep it up!!

Quick update as it's weigh in Wednesday

Over Xmas I gained 7lbs :eek:

Today I was down 3lbs from that, so an overall 4lb rise. I'll sort the ticker out when i get 5 minutes.

The month of December hit a lot of us hard, the trick is just getting back to business now that it's OVER :)

weight will be gone in no time!! I gained 8 over xmas and lost that so
far no more 4 day binges for me lol! Congrats on losing the 3 outta the

Ooooh, another slight gain this week - 1lb on. But considering my mind is currently on other things, I'm not going to complain. Back up to 299lbs now but although I'm not counting cals again yet, I have settled into a better eating routine this week.

I hope you are all well and shedding those lbs - I'm with you all in spirit still and I'll be back as a daily regular rather than my current weekly visits just as soon as I get myself sorted :)

1lb off this week - I'm moving in the right direction again :) Down to 298 and looking forwards to breaking out of the 90's in the right direction.

I've managed to hurt my foot though :( . It's been a bit sore for a week or so but felt a little better yesterday so I played football - but now it aches like heck! I'm 99% sure I've strained the tendons so I'll need to take it easy for a few days. If it's not so bad then I should be back walking by the weekend, I'll have to see how it goes.

Keep up the good work everyone - I'm looking forward to catching up with you all once I'm back full time :cool:

do some other form of exercise or something if it hangs about too long

Wishes - there's a special kind of exercise I have in mind that doesn't involve the poorly foot that much - I just can't find a willing partner to help me out with it :(









I of course mean lifting weights ;) I hear it shouldn't be done alone. What did you all think I meant? :p

Okay - just weighed in and there's no loss and no gain, which is good seeing as how I've not done much exercise this week (foot still sore) and I've not been very focussed on eating that well.

I had a bit of a re-focussing moment at work today too. There's a large mirror in one of the toilets and on my way out i caught an angle of myself that was most un-flattering. it's the kind of image that used to stick in my brain and make me feel down (leading onto some comfort eating, of course), but right now I feel more motivated than I have for a good month or so to get back into the swing of things and carry on my fight.

Hey Stan,
While your foot is getting better, remember that losing weight is about 90% diet.

You CAN control that, even if you can't get out and move as much as you'd like.

We just need to MAKE this happen :)

You're right M2M. It was easy when the weight was falling off and I had no pressures on me - but now things are a bit tougher, I need to knuckle down, get my focus back and make this happen!

Okay, today I hit approx 1900cals (including ostrich for the first time - it's nothing special btw, but low in fat apparently) and chalked up 1 very careful mile walking. The foot didn't feel too bad - it's definately not right yet (in fact, it's left :p ) so I dont want to push it too much, but it's encouraging that it isn't hurting any more, just a bit of an ache.

I'm looking forward to tomorrow now which is the first time I've felt this way in ages! I'm going to have a great menu, a good day, my walk will be fine and pain free and nobody's going to ruin it for me! Bring it on! :D
