Hi ya...{Newbie here} ;)

I'm not new to the weight loss struggle..

Mine has been a 13-year battle..

Growing up I was a healthy/naturally thin size 0 and in certain clothing a size 1. I'm 5'8 with long legs/arms/115 lbs

I had a fantastic metab..Ate like a horse as well and never gained an ounce..{oh, those were the days...}

Once I became preggers everything changed...lol

I gained 65 lbs. by the time I went into labor..

I truly must of thought I had a 65 lb. baby in me bc once he was born I couldn't believe what my new body looked liked! :doh:

Came home and was stuck in maternity clothes forever bc all of my things were a size 0 and 1..

I was now in an 11....A BIG change for someone who has always been so tiny..

This was the start of the battle..Going up/down..

I've been every size from 9-18.. I could open a store with all the clothes!

I'm now donating...lol

My new battle.. Started at a size 18 - 187 lbs..{The highest I've ever been}

I've been doin' the Best Life Diet Plan..

I'm now 177.4 and have lost a few in. as well. I'm a tight size 14

I have really been enjoying the book/menus and I hope this will finally be the Life Plan for me and my family..

My goal is to be 135-140 which will put me in a size 9/10 where I have been happy/healthy before. I feel really good there and happy..

If that is just not possible bc of my age and stuff, I'll take bein' a size 11/12 at around 145-150 lbs..

Time will tell..

I want to win this battle this time and maintain..
 
That sounds completely do-able!

I'm glad you started a diary. Wow, 5'8" and a size 0 - 1 if you stood sideways and stuck out your tongue you must've looked like a zipper! (Bad joke my mother used to tell about skinny people).

But your goal is entirely realistic. What are you doing for exercise?

LOL...That size just looked different back then..:confused:

I was 115. lbs.. Now when people are that size, they weigh like 85-90 lbs. bc they are soooo unhealthy..

With exercise I have ta be careful bc I have RA in all of my joints.

I received that lovely disease at age 12 from not bein' treated for strep throat. {the test came back neg. but I did have it.}

Anyway, I love using a pedometer for brisk walking/climbing hills, I do winsor pilates w/Mari, and cardio w/Denise Austin..{Her dance mix} I feel like I'm on dancing w/the stars..Big LOL! :rotflmao:

With the 7 lb. gain, my face is more filled out again as well as my waist..:rolleyes:

{man this stuff is filling! So good as well. Really gives me healthy energy}
3 C. coffee with splenda and sf/hazelnut cream.

L- Turkey wrap..{ww tortilla with 2 slices of deli turkey, iceburg lettuce, half a tomato, and a drizzle of ranch dressing.} 3 ribs of celery filled w/light-laugh cow cheese. Diet Pepsi

I've been married 14 years to my hubby- Dave, we have a fantastic son that is 13 {he'll be 14 on 1/5}, and we have a precious pet daughter-ZuZu..{mini american eskimo- she'll be 2 on 1/5} Isn't that cool?! She was born on sons b-day. :) We've had her since she was 7 weeks.

Scrub cleaning w/pedometer on..

2,291 steps - 1.8 ml - 60 cals burned {according to step count}
I know a lot more were burned while standing in one place dusting/mopping for example.. Plus, just bc of how much I had to keep gettin' the sweat off me..lol

I'll go walkin' with ZuZu in just a little while as well..

Gotta get dinner going as well..

Slept in..Needed it since I suffer from insomnia, but I always feel guilty bc my routine gets thrown off..

Brunch- 1 c. {all natural} banana-almond - granola cereal w/2% milk, 3 c. coffee w/splenda & sf/hazelnut cream.

S- Apple

D- Will Be: Turkey tacos - w/lettuce/toms/low-fat cheese/onions, refried beans, and rice/orzo blend mexican rice.. I'll make sure to have everything in moderation and not pig out! ;)

Dess- 1 ser - sf/chocolate puddin' {my cycle is here so thank goodness for a guilt free chocolate! lol}

If anything changes I will update log.. :)

My sis Stephany is 25 - sis Chrisy is 19 - and bubba is now 21..

Yes, my parents are crazy! ;)

Once I leave there I have ta pop by the store to pick up a few things.

After that I'll go walkin'..
 
hi, and thanks for posting on my journal. Thought it was time to return the favor. I found my body completely changed after my 2nd kid (not so much the first one even though I put on a lot of weight, it came off easily). But I think it was something about kid #2 and my age (34 then). The kid #3, at age 45, really did a number on me. I could kick myself for not doing something about this weight gain sooner. But, it's never too late -- for any of us!

Will check in again soon!

2,442 steps - 1.8 ml - 64 cals burned

Maybe if us Texans could get some dern fall weather I'd walk longer!!

hot/humid/sticky today..Just terrible weather!

Brunch - Whey protein shake {choc/half a scoop/5 oz.} I add 1/4 c. heavy cream in order to make a thick shake. ;) I also added 3 frozen starwberries..

S- apple & a cheese stick - diet pepsi

D- leftovers} Turkey tacos - w/lettuce/toms/low-fat cheese/onions, refried beans, and rice/orzo blend mexican rice.. {Beans/rice were measured} Had 2 tacos..

Man, I have ta keep in mind how revived I feel when eating right/exercising..

Such a great feeling..The energy is plum crazy man..just crazy..:rotflmao:

I've been so peppy these past few days..

Back to my silly/jokin' self....Hubby and son are glad ta see me again. :D

Stupid tom arrived...I'm bloated with lovely cramps as well..lol

There is no way I'd get a true reading of my weight..

My tom is so difficult and painful..

I had my tubes tied when son was 6 mo. old, so I was never the same again..
All the women in my family that have done this also have the worst time each month..:rolleyes:

Whelp, it was either that or have 10 kids or more..lol :rotflmao:

We lost our first baby at 9 weeks..

I got preggers just 2 mo. later by accident..

That's one of the reasons I had tubes tied, we knew we'd be the type of couple to keep gettin' preggers..lol

{Couldn't take the pill/Each kind made me sooo sick..I tried several}

I was just made for one kid anyways...:rotflmao:

It's a hard job that will never end; it's for life!

This way, all of our love, time, energy, and money can be for him..

I'll just keep havin' pet daughters..LMBO! :D
