I'm glad you got to spend time with MaeMae. Right now, I'm spending time with Ulu... my sister. haha (Her Hawaiian name that is... English name= Randi. haha) I just wanted to drop in and check on you. I got the email, so I'll check out that link you sent me, hun.

My Xbox 360 died this weekend. I got the Red Ring of Death :rant: I'm so mad because I'll be without it for about 5 weeks . My son's 360 died about 5 months ago so this is the 2nd one to go down in my family.
:rant: My son popped in Time Shift that we rented to see how it is and he didn't even get to try it out. Bam! Frozen screen, red ring. Needless to say that put a damper on the gaming this weekend. We pulled out my PS2 and played Guitar Hero 3 on it. My fingers hurt now because I hadn't played GH since about Feb:ack2:

OMG Paul, we have been through freakin' 3 of them!

It's the damn batch! We keep gettin' the same ones made at same time.

This time, we picked a different batch # and the 360 was only a month old!

We are hopin' we won't have ta go through this again.

I'm gettin' pissed off bc I have to keep startin' over with all my games!

Guitar Hero - Viva Pinata {OMG - I can play that game for freakin' 5 hours! :rofl:} I'm a garden freak! :smilielol5: Before the ring of fire I had 17 damn gardens and 200G in chocolate coins! :rofl:

Took me one week to get the damn hippo to join my garden and then it all got erased.

Same with Guitar Hero. I work so hard to get 100% - All Gold Stars and then all that hard work goes down the drain.

Man, this 3rd one is much harder bc of battling the bosses. :D

OMG 3 of them?!?! Are you getting the ones without the hard drive? You should be able to have all your games info stored on the hard drive. That way you won't have to start over.
I got mine in Jan this year so it's only 10 months old.
I hope yours doesn't go down out on you anymore:cheers2:
 
The warrenty won't allow for us to keep hard drive..

We have ta send the whole unit back and they send us a voucher to get new one.

Everything should be ok now that we finally got out of that sucky batch # crap.

This new one was only a month old from factory. We bought it on Friday.

Cory's has been just fine thank goodness. {he has his own 360 for his room}

Hubby and I share the one in living room.

Cory loves X-BOX Live so he needs one in his room.

He is freakin' awesome at Halo games.

He has already defeated Halo 3..

hhmm that's weird . I have to send mine in for repair. No voucher for a new one. I have to pull my hard drive off and keep all my cables and controllers and they'll pick it up and ship it back to me repaired via UPS. Sucks cuz it'l take so long.
My son is a big Xbox live player too. He plays with all his friends from school and some all around the world. He told me the other night they were playing with someone from Switzerland I think. I don't play online. Mainly because my internet cable is clear on the other side of the house but it's a good excuse for me not to get online so teenagers can't beat me bad at Halo and teabag me *L*
I was able to play mine enough to get thry Halo 3 myself. I hadn't played it in a week before it died yesterday. Maybe it was mad at me for not playing it *L*

My kids are writing their x-mas list for SANTA :biggrinjester: and my daughter
really really wants a nitendo DS and thenmy son was like I want a playstation
3 lol I am like ok guys santa isn't going to bring everyone their own game system geeeesh we have a a WII and playstation 2 hubby sold the x-box 360 to get the will and extra games lol.

The high will be 85* though and it may get humid again like yesterday.

Congrats on being down this morning!! Now, stop weighing in every day. Haha! I can't believe I'M saying that, but I think it's better for you to just do it once a week. No need to stress yourself out with the daily fluctuations. :)

i havent been home in ages to play my guitar hero so i'm hoping my brothers haven't destroyed it. they're more into james bond and football games anyways (either that, or they're just jealous that they can't compete with my awesome GH skills). i'm looking into getting a wii right now and one of my friends is actually selling his, with some controllers and games... i just don't know if i want to spend $450... i think i'll prolly wait cause i'm saving up a ton of money for my bday...

i hope you still have lots of sunshine to enjoy... that daylight savings sure took a chunk of the daylight here in vancouver. it's completely dark by 5:15 now... and the fog at night is crazy- couldn't even see a block ahead last nite...

anyways, i hope this is a great week for you!

Your down pounds again??? WOW!!! your blowing right by me now, YOU GO GIRL!! I'm sitting at 175 currently, but I'm working towards a 174-173 weigh in this Saturday, OH YEAH!! I'm getting ready for that visit from Aunt Flo, so who knows what that will do to me, hopefully not much, I'm going to drown myself in bottled water this week, so maybe that will help it a bit.

Is your weather as pretty as it is here today?? Sunny and 72, YEAH! I wish I could bottle this up and keep it around until Feb. LOL LOL fat chance I know, but it's always nice to dream!

Congratulations on the weight drop. :hurray:

It might be worth you stopping playing computer games too late at night. I used to do that and found that I was not sleeping too well as my brain was too active late at night. I found that things improved if I stopped about an hour before bedtime. If you are still having trouble sleeping - it might be something worth considering.
