Stacy's Before * Progress * Goal

Hi, I'm Stacy.

I'll be 35 in May and I was hoping to be close to my goal.

I started my weight-loss journey in Sept. 07

Starting at 187.0 lbs.

I have never started a fitness journey in fall/winter before and boy have I struggled!

I'm a big outdoors person and I allowed the poor weather to give me cabin fever and allowed it to keep me unmotivated.

Before C-Mas I saw a New Low of 170.0 lbs.

After that I fell apart and let an assortment of reasons keep me down/depressed/and unmotivated.

I started emotional eating again as well.

I got all the way back up to 181 lbs. :smash:

I look horrible and feel horrible.

I hope to break this cycle and stay motivated/serious.

It's not too late for me! I can still reach my goal in 2008!

I hope the "Progress" pic I'll share next will be a much better pic and of course my weight will be down. :jump:

I'm 5'8 and I need to be around 140-150 lbs.

Once I reach 150, I'll know if that's my goal or if I need to get to 140 - 145 lbs.

:seeya:

nag nag nag nag nag :D

Why not wear clothes that fit you? The oversized look is fine if you're a ghetto teenager.. but... you arent... You'll feel better and look 30lbs smaller if you aren't drowning in shirts that are 2 sizes to big...

Pin the back of that shirt so that it's more fitted and retake the picture and you'll see what I mean...

Much success gettig to where you want to be... Just take it one day at a time.

and stand up straight too :) Shoulders back.. boobies out... :D

Love the smile..

LMBO MAL!

:p

I thought you'd be proud bc I finally wore a shirt that didn't come down to my knees! Give me some credit. :biggrinjester:

That shirt is only one size up from the other one that was too tight and showed my mid-section rolls.

I'd rather be a lil baggy than show rolls. lol

You don't look horrible! And I agree with Mal, wear clothes that fit, it only makes you look bigger when you try to hide behind big clothes.

Thanks SP. :hug2:

Hubby took this pic today..

My B-Day is May 28th and look what I got early!!!!!!!!

I'm Super Excited!

Speaking of b-day's, hubby's is tomorrow. He'll be 37.

I picked up some very comfy/supportive walking shoes and padded socks as well today. :hurray:

Can't wait for hubby to get the bike put together!

It tells ya all the important info. you want to know as well.
Fat Calories Burned - Cals Burned - Distance - Pulse - all kinds of stuff!

*Super WooT!* :hurray:

You're very pretty. Looks like a nice present. Have fun with it!

Hey Sexy TX Sunshine! You can do it this time!! Stick to your guns and work it girl!! I KNOW YOU CAN DO IT! I'm so happy your back on the wagon again and here so we can cheer you on!! Your beautiful in my eyes! I'll be checking on you!! GO GIRL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Stacy,

It seems as though you're doing this already, but don't look to the past. Just move forward. I fell off my weight loss wagon for several weeks too. But I've been going strong for the last two months. You gotta just pick yourself up and get back on that bike and keep riding. Sorry about the stupid metaphor. Anyway, there's no reason to harp on the past if it's only going to make you feel down or sad because that will only lead to more unhealthy behavior.

Also, at least you've got your height working for you. Man, I wish I was 5'8."

You did it before so you can do it again!
