I went for C25K session to. I feel pretty darn good. I've been sore for the past two days (I feel pretty wimpy about that!) but when I got going on session two I felt fine. Sure now that I've cooled off a bit the achy-ness has crept back. Going back down the stairs to my basement suite seemed a bit daunting. I feel a bit like the tin-man begging Dorothy to oil my joints. Errr, seeing how I mentioned the gay bar story, I better clarify things... no the Dorothy/tin-man thing is not some kinky euphemism! I'm gonna keep going with the C25K. My body is going to have to deal with it. I'm gonna do a whole lotta stretching to see if I can minify things, though. I was a bit worried about my back during the first session, because I was feeling some of the ol' painful twinges from the car accident. Today, however, I had notta one! I feel relieved. *sigh* I'll need to up the back and TA exercises to keep the strength up.
I'm loving the new park I found. Its wonderful being outside when it seems like spring is around the corner. It was a little "rainy" but not "raining" so it was refreshing. My folks back home will kill me if I mention spring. Thery're still under a thick layer of snow with sub-zero weather. Sucks to be them! I feel completely justified in saying that because I lived there for 26 years!
