Squeeze My Lemons

ooo clothes shopping! i went to an second hand shop today, and i loved that i found heaps that fit! too bad they looked like buttocks 80s clothes! (then i went to kmart)

I LOVE dress shopping Lemon. I wish I was there with you, I really do, just so I can be there to flail with you and hug you! I bet you looked like an utter knockout in all of those beautiful dresses. I didn't use to like dresses until I got thinner and actually decided I can look *good* in them.

This is so awesome, honey! I'm so happy for you. I can genuinely say I *know* how you feel. Wow chica, I'm like bouncing up and down inside right now. I'm proud of you for not buying a dress despite the temptation. But you do have to promise us that if you *do* eventually invest in a vixen wardrobe, you'll HAVE to take pictures and show us!!

Much Friday love, chica!!

Thanks buddies. Its sooo wonderful having all the support and encouragement!!

My sister, who lives back in Alberta, told me that my wedding dress was ready and she went to pick it up. I can't wait to get home and try it on again! I head home in a month. I was six pounds heavier then...and in one more month, just imagine what could happen! I wanted a dress with a lace up back, so that as I lose weight, it won't affect the altering too much.

Here's a picture of the dress, for anyone who hasn't seen it:

Followed you over here from bb's diary :)

I had to write b/c oh wow that dress is absolutely GORGEOUS! Totally my style...........you're going to look absolutely BEAUTIFUL in that!

Holy crap, Luscious, that's the most beautiful dress EVER!! It would seem you and I even have the same fashion sense!! This is actually what I had in mind for whenever I decided to cross into the world of wedded bliss. Not only is it fashionable, it's downright sexy. You'll look AWESOME in it, I'm sure. 'Member though hon, you have GOT to get pictures for us!!

I hope you're having a good Saturday, chica!! (((hugs)))

oh my god that dress is AMAZING!

Classy and yet modern and still has an old time feel. thats a killer dress!
dont forget - we need pics!

Yup, not too poofy or frilly...but I did give into a little bling! I didn't want a fancy satin one with all the trimmings. I wanted something a bit more softer and simpler. Not to mention it has an amazing corset built in. It sucks me in a few more inches...and I'll take all the inches I can get!

I finished Day 3 of Week 3 of the couch to 5k today. I am excited to move ahead onto the next phase. I read about what next week entails. I'm not sure whether I should be scared or excited...no really I'm excited! My kinesiologist said that my back might cause me problems when I get up to longer running intervals. He said that I might need to stick at some weeks longer before moving forward if there are problems. I'm really hoping that I don't hit this threshold anytime some. Knowing that I am progressing onto a new week is motivation. Repeating a week won't be nearly as much fun. I guess I'll cross that bridge when I come to it.

It's hard to believe, but I think I am starting to notice some of the cardiovascular benefits already. I am finding it harder to raise my heart rate substantially when I'm working out. Unless, perhaps, I am just getting lazier and not pushing as hard. LOL.

THE dress is pretty damn sexy. You know, it's kinda bad taste for the bride to be so hot that the minister's soldier salutes during the ceremony. :sifone:

Have you given any thought to a redneck/camouflage theme instead? Instead of arriving at the church in a car, you could have someone pull you in a cart with a rider lawn mower. LMAO. The sad thing is, I've seen that exact wedding on a show about real life redneck weddings. If you need anymore great wedding or honeymoon ideas, just ask--I'm full of them...I'm full of a lot of things. :reddevil:

Good luck with the c25k program. I've been thinking about doing it. Tyly's been kicking ass with it.

You were in a rollover accident? That's pretty scary.

You mean a sexy camouflage dress like this:

Or how about this ?

I could almost go for the , though.

Yeah, I'm into the whole "outdoorsy" and laid-back weddings themes, but these seems a bit over board...LOL!

Luscious, I'm so proud of you! Look how far you've gotten on your C25K already! Don't worry about having to repeat a week either. I'm sure you won't be the only one. It's more important to protect the health of your body that lose a pound in a week. You'll always be able to try and lose that pound again but you can't get your back stability back. Not to mention, it's less painful to eat less than it is to sit around with your back screaming at you. LOL.

There's a corset in that dress, huh? That's the kind that I want, really it is. Anything that makes me look tinier, I'll go for. Even if and when I ever own a little black dress, I'd want it to enlarge, thin and contour against. ;) Once I reach my goal, I'll have to find one. It's pretty exciting looking forward to being sexy.

Happy St. Paddy's day, chica!

I dunno...the camo dress was a little classier than I had in mind..lmao. I'm loving the other ones, though. :D
There's this one which is made out of toilet paper--you can use it for when you go TPing on your honeymoon.

Or get your bridesmaids involved. I'm sure they'd love to spend money on a dress like this:

Don't forget the groom and groomsmen:

Now if you tooled up to the beercan arch in the camo camaro with a wedding party decked out in this, it would be super classy. And may I suggest a pig roast in the back yard of this redneck palace:

Lucious, that is a beautiful dress! You will be such a gorgeous bride.

Bikinbound, I've seen that redneck wedding show too. It's amazing some of those people even get married the way they treat each other. The TP dresses are a hoot too - what if it rained? LOL

Bikini,

LMAO...I love the red neck tv site. Lovin' the camo tuxes with tails and fake deer. I especially loved this . It looks like the guys trying to strangle his kid...yup, a nice nuclear family-type.

I have to say that that TP dress is pretty classy...I wonder how much money you'd really save if you used the nice and soft premium stuff?

Thanks everyone for the dress compliments...I won't forget about pictures. I'm sure itching to get home to try it on!

Invariant,

Thanks for the thumbs up on the running. You're completely right about the back issue. I'm definitely keeping an eye on it. If I need to take things slower then I definitely will. I'm seeing a physiotherapist and a kinesiologist once a week, each. So hopefully I won't hit a road block. Thanks and happy St Paddy's Day, yourself!

Tasha,

A friend of mind didn't have much of a wedding either. The only thing she regrets is that she didn't have her dream dress. Her friend lent her a dress instead. It was pretty, but she still feels that she missed out. I told her that I'm taking her to try on dress even if I have to drag her. Trying on dresses is the best part. She should at least have that much! Not to mention she has an absolutely killer body. It will be fun...if I can curb my body-envy! LOL!

I finished Day 1 of Week 4 today. It was pretty good. I was a little doubtful during the first three minute run because my glutes, abs, and quads were already tired from my physio session. The first half of my c-5k session is uphill, so it really sucks at the beginning, but it sure helps out when I need the downhill at the end!

Maybe you could save some money by making THE dress out of tp instead. I'm just wondering how you'd do the lace up back..:smilielol5: You'd have to lace it up gently--maybe use shoe strings. :D

I got cheated out of my wedding, too. It was me, H, mom, dad and grandma. None of his family was there, and it took place at the minister's condo--in front of the fireplace...lol. Not my dream at all, and surprisingly, I wasn't pregnant...haha. I told H he owes me a fancy shmancy renewal of vows at some point in the near future. :cuss:

Sweatpea--I guess if it rained, it would turn into a wet bridal dress contest with only one participant..lmao.

Congrats with getting through your C25K Lemon!! I'm proud of you! And you know, the cool downs are always the most relieving part of the workout. I'm telling you, when I go from 5.8 to 5.0, my joints sing Hallelujah. LOL.

Hope your Tuesday is going alright! Much love, sweets!
