squats and breathing issues

hey guys,

After doing squats for 3x10 or 4x8, i have not really trouble breathing, like I can breath, its just my hearts is pumping so hard and i have a loss of energy and dont really feel like doing anything else.

I do ATG, my but is almost touching my ankles, not literally but you get the point. So i try to do that on the last set as best as possible but that doesnt always happen but afterwards i feel like ****.

I eat a good pre work out meal consisting of rice and chicken. So i dont think its nutrition because this hasnt happened a couple months ago just for th epast month or so I have seen this. Also i am like perfectly fine 20 minutes later.
Why would this happen?

Thanks

sounds like you're just tired, which would be normal.

Are you breathing correctly when squatting? breathe in before each rep, hold your breath during the rep/start exhaling when you are through your sticking point.

i dont do any cardio except warmup because I am bulking
I dont think its breathing problems, its just im really winded after my squats

also i take a breath in and then go down and let it out after pushing up. So I think I do it right.

What do you mean you are perfectly fine 20 minutes later? Does it take you 20 minutes for your heart to get back to normal? The next time, wear a hear rate monitor or measure your heart rate by your pulse immediately after your squats and then every 3 minutes afterward. After 3 minutes, your heart rate should be back to normal. If not, you need better aerobics.

I think I understand what you mean but I think it is just due to the fact that squats are really taxing exercises. I feel the same doing deadlifts, especially when I am doing a higher rep/minimal rest time workout.

Just concentrate on the breathing pattern Karky suggested.
