I was playing basketball with a bunch of guys outside yesterday, and when I went to do a layup, I stepped on a black walnut and rolled my ankle and I basically ended up jumping off of the side of my foot
Because I could not put any weight on my ankle this morning, i went to the doctor and he told me I have a stage/level 3 sprain. Basically all the muscles in my ankle are stretched out. The doctor also told me he was suprised that it wasn't broken with the type of sprain that it is. they took like 4 x-rays.
I attached a photo. it was taken with my camera phone, but the bottom of my foot (more towards the heal) is bruised and part of the side of the ankle. (that was this morning) Now the whole bottom of my foot is bruised. I still can't put any weight on it, and I had to call into work today, tomorrow and possibly wednesday...so much for working out the next couple days :devil:
