Sports Bra's

I know that's a weird topic, but I really do need some help. I have lost over 33lbs in the last 7 months without working out, but now I want to start working out and I realized I'm not prepared. Right now, all I am able to do is some light yoga and walking. I would like to do more strenuous excercise, but I'm not able to with a really good supportive sports bra. Most of the sports bras out here are seriously lacking in support. I can't be the only person out there with this problem... If I'm posting this in the wrong forum, please let me know.
Thanks!

My current favourite bra is by Champion, I got it at SportChek, I'm sure you can find it at any sporting wear store. If you have issues with support, you may have to wear a regular bra underneath the sport one. This is what I do, for now at least.
You might want to check out Title Nine, I've heard nothing but good things about their sports bras, and plan on buying one soon. Maybe I won't have to wear 2 bras anymore! lol. Do you have large breasts? I know Title Nine covers a wide variety of bra sizes, the website is

Other than that, the only advice I can give you is to do lots of looking around, trying the bras on, jumping around in the changeroom with it on, until you find one that works for you. Sorry I couldn't be more helpful, I struggle with finding supportive enough sportsbras as well.

Yes, I do have large breasts. It can be very cumbersome at times. Thanks for your input. I'll take anything I can get! I really want to start working out soon.
Thanks LadyLeeLee

I usea sports bra by a brand called Royce and find it super comfortable. I have also read that Shock Absorbers are worth investing on...xxx

I'm a fan of the Underarmor sports bras, they have nice firm support but they don't do it by tightening up so much they restrict my breathing. They are comfortable. For reference I'm a 34-C and I wear my Underarmor bra for 6 mile runs - no jiggling, no pain :) It does the job.

I have the need for lots of support... I am a 32 D and I love Victoria's Secret's line of sports bras. I wear the underwire one and then the crossover version on top of it. Yes. TWO bras. I do a lot of high intensity cardio and it keeps them "locked and loaded". :D Highly reccommend thier bras.

underarmor, lululemon, nike... what-ever. I just had to say that from a guy's perspective, I love it when women rock the sports bra! Ladies... keep doing your thing!

Alright, now I'll leave before I'm swarmed with estrogen. ;)

Shock absorbers?

Fogive the silly question but what shock absorbers do you mean? In shoes or do they make those for bras now?

Isn't the Shock Absorber line of sport bras made by/with Victoria's Secret or are you talking about a different line by the same name?

Just thought that I would post that Champion is having one of their sales - bras as low as $19.99 (usually they are all $19.99, but this time they changed it). They are also offering an additional 15% off online purchases of any amount until April 15th -- enter the code "Tax15" at checkout.

You can find their site at championusa.com
