Sphinx' Diary

I haven't been on for a few days because I have had a severe case of pnemonia. I have not been able to exercise at all, and I a wasn't feeling well enough to record my three day statistics. I am feeling better now, although I might have bronchitis for a few more weeks.

Today's mantra is:

"First say to yourself what you would be, and then do what you have to do"
- Epictetus

I will post my statistics tomarrow.

oh bronchitis is the worst - this is the first year in a decade or two that I didn't get hit with it - -hope it passes for you soon....

I know I said I would post my statistics 3 days ago, but I had some trouble connecting to the internet. It seems to be one thing after another with me this week! Well...I am ashamed to say that I have gone back up to 250.8lbs. I am not sure what happened, I did not fly off the wagon because of the holiday, I'm not near menstration, so I don't think it is bloating. I know that muscle weighs more than fat, but I don't think I have been this lucky. Oh well, tomarrow is another day! I will leave off on posting my measurements, I assume that they will be the same as they were when I was this weight before.

I find this mantra to be very applicable to my situation:

"You may be disappointed if you fail, but you are doomed if don't try"
-Beverly Sills

Today's mantra is:

"The roots of true achievement lie in the will to become the best you can become"
-Harold Taylor

I have switched my internet service provider, so hopefully everything will work properly again. I haven't been keeping up with my measurements lately, and I hopng to change that. As fun as procrastination and idleness may be, I really need to get my act together. After my previous statement, this is going to sound a little hypocritical, but I will post my measurements tomarrow.

Today's mantra is:
"The greatest pleasure in life is to do what people say you cannot do"
-Walter Bagehot

I have not posted for quite a while, and I have have stopped my exercising. There was no reason or excuse for it. I am now back to my old weight of 255. I am deeply ashamed and regretful, but I am now going to make many new changes for the better. I will pick up my old exercise routine, diet, and motivational techniques. I have made a virtual model of myself (here is the site if you would like to use it as well ) it has a sort of before and after picture of what I will look like if I keep at it. I thank you all for your previous support and hope I have the strength and will power to continue.
