Sparty On

Thanks Guideon and Clarissa. Yeah planning is key. Where I struggle is weekends where I have a lot of social things going on. When it is a weekend spent at home that is a lot easier for me. Thankfully this is a weekend with no plans. So I am going to be able to plan my entire weekend around not only what I eat but what I do including getting in some good exercise since with how crazy work has been it has been a real struggle to find time to get to the gym. But I am learning that even when I am overwhelmed at work and can't make it to the gym I can still control what I eat.

I am just really, really trying to focus in because I just don't want to do this for a couple of weeks and then fall off the wagon. I truly believe that if I can lose these first 20-30 lbs that I will REALLY be able to see a difference and that will be the ultimate motivator that this is working and to keep going until I reach my goal. I FEEL better already. But I don't really SEE any difference yet when I look in the mirror. Head down, keep plugging away.

I have that as well, weekends are always filled with social stuff and with that come temptations.
For me: beer.
I don't order a beer every round anymore, but order water once every three rounds, that eliminates a third of my beerconsumption any given night :)

Seeing a difference in the mirror can be hard, as you look in the mirror everyday.
Did you take "before" pictures? Those will help a great deal to see the difference you've made.
