sore right quadricep

Ive been playing a lot of soccer over the last few months and noticed my right quadricep has been very sore during and after soccer. I only play about 1-2 times a week and usually have a legs workout 3 days before i play. Its only my right quad (the one i use to kick) and I feel it get very sore after a few kicks and for the rest of the day and sometimes 2-3 days after. After about 2-3 days its fine but than I get the same soreness when i play again. I stretch my legs before the game every time and after.

Any suggestions? See a doctor?
 
Hrm...I'd say to analyze your stretching. Make sure it is long and effective. A simple 1 minute stretch may not be enough. Spend about 10 minutes thoroughly stretching. Maybe also go for a short jog to warm up your muscles and supply more oxygen to them.

If the problem persists, take a few games off, then begin again. If the problem persists, go see a doctor.
