Sophies diary

i take it you had no school today? awesome that you get to go to the gym. I'm not a big tea person either. I cant even drink flavored tea without lots of sugar. i have never had green tea, i have just been told that it was good. By, 1 person. lol. just wondering. sorry if i got your hopes up. lol.

Lena - my dads bouillon
ingredients
potatoes
carrots
parsnip
onion
(all finely chopped)
and boiling water with chicken stock cube
simmer it for apporximately 10-15 mins (until veg is cooked but not soft)
it is so simple :)
and also if you want it thickened then blend it and then heat for a couple more mins
is sounds really plain but it is so yummy and really fills me

well i did have school for half a day but then my last lesson was cancelled becuase it was cross country and apparently it was too cold. i think it would have done us all some good to be honest :p
and okay mal . i appreciate you not telling the queen :D tar very much
and rachie i think its just a typical english familyt hing. my nan has about 976 cups of tea a day....

thanx sophie, and thank your dad for me :)
its some kind of minestrone. i eat these stuff whenever i can lol. i even like it more when its just stirfried. i put leek, peppers, onions, garlic, parsley, carrots or whatever veggies i have in te fridge and 1 table spoon of soy souce and just little bit of chicken stock so it doesn't burn (add it every few minutes). in the end, when its all soft i just uncover it and turn the heat up for water to evaporate and i find it an excellent side dish :)

yeah thats sounds really like it. my dad was really chuffed tghat somebody wanted to know it lol i think you made his day :)
anyway so i had a bit of a cheat today with the biscuit tin :| but am still in my calorific range (is that even a thing lolz?) due to having a large fruit salad for dinner instead of anything heavily based on carbs.
also i found this cool website that gives you the calories to eat to avoid a plateau in weight loss. its like a calories cycle i think.

Sophie, thank you for the nice welcome you gave me. Everyody's so good and understanding here!

It's great to have people helping you, people who actually know what you're going through...

I'll be there for you if you'll need me.

thankyou venice girl - its really nice to know that :)
well everybody is here for each other in here and thats what i like about it. whenver i feel like a really big nige is coming on then i hop onto the internet and come on this site and talk about it in my diary and nearly always somebody offers me some advice about it. and also when i am working out i always push myself a little bit harder when i think about what i want to achieve. it gives me a satisfaction when i can write about my loss on a sunday (weigh in day)

Oooh, I just saw your dads bouillon recipe and it sounds good! Def. worth something to try. (I'm a picky soup eater, so anything simple and tastey sounding is worth a shot.)

aww he'll be really pleased lol. he never usually cooks and he was so chuffed when i said somebody had aske for his recipe.
it does taste so good though - it didnt even look that nice when he made it so i was really indecisisve over whether to have some but it was gorgeous and i went back for moe and alsoo i was full after2 bowls!!
a record :)

muahahahahaaaaaaa

school was cancelled due to snow! :D
so no presentation for me
take that mrs cain - quote - "dont think you'll be getting out of it cos of snow. this school never closes for snow .. you can all walk"
hahaha

You're so lucky! My boss never says to stay home because of the snow...he would make us go to work even if an hurricane had destroyed the building.

hehe i can only imagine your dad's face *someone wants MY recipe????* lol

my dad also experiments in the kitchen and it always tastes great. venice sorry about that boss of yours. mine is similar, but he's trying to change :D

hope you'll have a wonderful weekend sophie :) Lena

woop woop

so.. ive been to the bullring in birmingham today (absolutely paradise for all you hardcore shoppers)
and i got round in a record time!! haha only 2 and a half hours to do the whole lot :D
annnd
my happy point of the day
i found, tried on and bought a pair of skinny jeans from top shop.
SIZE 8 :|
and they fitted
(US size 4 i think)
and i am so happy because im nearly back to being where i was this time last year.
and before christmas i couldnt even get my arse into a pair of size 12s.
eeeeee
hope edverybody else has a happy weekend too

Yay!! I bet it feels great to fit into those 8's! I'm happy for you, hard work truly does pay off and gives you an excuse to walk the malls and shops for new clothes (Which help you burn calories doing all that walking!) best of both worlds!!!

:) thanks chick.
so today has been a calorie day because i want to give my metabolism a bit of a boost. i really hope this calorie bouncing thing works because ive added up everything i have eatn and what i will eat for dinner this evening and it has come to 1900 calories ...
so im feeling a bit wary .. i hate going over 1500 atm and feel i ve got stuck in a bit of a rut so it will be good to get out of the rut and hopefully see that it does me no harm once in a while?! (please let this be true)
tomorrow is weigh in day and im nervous...
x
