Sophies diary

my day is a lot better now - moodwise i am feeling amazing because i have just been to the gym and have actually managed to control my evening snacking - coming in at a grand total of 1535 calories taken intoday. thats better than ive done for ages.
my treat for going to the gym - a honey and banana sandwich mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm
but not as good as peanut butter and banana - but sadly we are out of peanut butter!
i am going to try the green tea thing for breakfast cinderlly - although to begin with there will probably be liveral maountf of honey within it and then if i reduce the honey each day as i get used to the flavour.
and also cinders -
Green Tea

HOW IT SPURS WEIGHT LOSS

Green tea (Camellia sinensis) increases your metabolism (the rate at which you burn calories) and stimulates your body's ability to burn fat, according to a handful of human studies. Research shows that the benefits come from an interaction between caffeine and epigallocatechin gallate (EGCG), a plant chemical in green tea that triggers your production of the metabolism-boosting, appetite-suppressing hormone noradrenaline. A study published in the American Journal of Clinical Nutrition gave 10 healthy men a green tea supplement (that contained 90 mg of EGCG and 50 mg of caffeine), 50 mg of caffeine, or a placebo. The men ate a normal diet and did not exercise. Only those who took the green tea supplement experienced a significant increase in calorie-burning ability.

THE RESULTS YOU CAN EXPECT

Based on a study of obese people who took green tea supplements, published earlier this year in the journal Phytomedicine, you may lose about 2 1/2 pounds a month.
i am saving my weight watchers soup til tomorrow - i am still a bit dubious about it - ive never tried any weight watchers products before or canned soup to be honest - we usually only ever had home made. but still i will give it a go - espesh now ive been given a recommendation bmohearn!
yes - its still snowing  -i live in the west midlands in england..so i doubt it will be heading your way quite yet.
please let it still be snowing tomorrow - i so dont want to go to school!

i'm glad you feel good now. And i hope the snow heads this way too...and that your school is closed tomorrow. Try the soup, it will be good. You can always try to put some spices into it if you dont like the flavor. Have fun. Good luck on the soup.

haha thankyou - i will give it a go
so todays official stats:
CALORIES IN:1525
CALORIES OUT:2933

I am going to try a green tea ... wish me luck lolll

erm not too sure what you mean.. i am using a tea bag? thats making it right?
(sorry for being a bit dumb about this one)

i dont think there is much call for ready made tea in britain so its all about the bags here :p
and results are in .. i really dont think i can bring myself to drink that no matter how good it is for me. it just was so sweet but then so bland and it just made my tummy go all squirly. but i tried it and thats what counts :)
dad has just made his amazing vegetable bouillon only 34 cals per bowl!!
yes mayyyttee

hiya m2m - nice to see you :) everything is going quite swimmingly atm tar
hope it is the same with you!
so the official opinion of sophie is that green tea is undrinkable and she doesnt understand how anybody could drink lots of that even if it supposed to amazingly good for them .she'll stick to water thankyou :D
yeah i know its really low on cals bmohearn and it tastes so good .. presuming you were talking about the bouillon and not the tea? if not then the tea opinion is above lolzz
still dont know whether ive got school today - i really hope its not on
and have done really well at breakfast - this museli ive got is well good and i had enough breakfast calories left to put a full fat fruity yoghurt on it  it was awesome (testing out moderate amounts of dairy products again to try and build up a tolerance)

Hi Sophie! How's it going? Your breakfast sounds yummy. Have you seen green tea with lemon? I know I tried the normal stuff and wasn't keen but the stuff with lemon flavour tastes better to me :) I have to admit I still don't drink too much of it - I always bring a big bag of tetley's back to the States with me so I can have my proper British tea :)

arghh arghh ive gone carb crayzeeeee
and just had 5 biscuits
ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh:(

Well I hope whatever you decide to do gives you that boost you need...Sorry to hear you didnt liek the tea...green tea I have never tasted, I have had the drinks like ice tea and stuff adn they have diet green ones and diet lemon ones...as for weight watchers products they are supposta be really good...Have a good day!!!

well i'll be patriotic for you lol, i love any kind of tea :) i wish i could go out for a walk, so enjoy it for me also :)
btw can i get your dad's recipe? maybe i could try it sometime.

should i admit that i hate english tea??
how unpatriotic of me :p

when i was in the uk for a few months on business years ago - the coffee was utterly undrinkable - so I swtiched to tea -english tea is quite strong but it's good - or at least it was better than the coffee :D

water is better for yoou anyhow :D we won't tell the Queen how you feel about tea :D

Haha, you are right about the coffee Maleficent - I didn't drink coffee till I came to live in the US. Tea is good though, although while I was home for Christmas I did get a bit overloaded. My family drink about 10 cups a day :D
