Sophie you are improving, your doing triathlons for heaven's sake, that is way up there in my book. If I could only be as half as fit as you are. My gosh, I would be in a dream.
Soph ~~hugs~~ for the rep, your the sweetest!

hiya risty nice to see you! so for my triathlongs it depends on which race it is but between 500m-3000m swim, 5-50km road bike and 1-10km run.Hey SophieThanks for posting in my diary lately, I appreciate it. Now I'm finally posting in yours!
First thing I have to say is... holy crap, triathalons! lol.... I know that must be a lot of hard work going into preparing for something like that and doing it as well. What's involved in your triathalon? I know what's involved, a lot of exercise that I couldn't do, that's what! lol
So I notice you don't have a ticker, so I was just curious on how you are at with your weight. In the beginning of your diary I think you said you were 9 stone and wanted to get back to your 7.5. So I was just curious if you've reached that and/or surpassed that.
Sorry to hear about the ammenhorea. Is that something that's not reversable?
yeah i atotally agree. there are so many different calculations and numbers rolling around in my head and i dont think that any of them are particularly specific to me.Hey Sophie thanks for popping by my diary. I really appreciate the support. Looking at your BMI comments I can tell you that I have found it a really deceptive measurement. Atheletes will always be high. Muscle weighs more than fat. The BMI is over 120 years old and was invented by a mathematician from Belgium who never intended it to be used the way we use it. As Curvie suggested, there are better ways to measure fat.
morning chick! hope you have a good day too - me, i am doing maths revisionGood morning. Ho[pe you have a great day today. Don't train too hard!![]()
i used it this morning cinders and because it was before any meals etc i was at my "true weight" and the scales said 119lbs which is right and the body fat said 24.4%Good Morning you...I think your body fat might be right ya know - it is almost half of mine and i weigh almost dbl you - geeesh...mind you one would assume you have more muscel which would lead to it being lower yes - I dunno - ther eis still alot abt this weight loss thing I dunno...
morning hunGood Morning Sophie
I haven't read back, but did you see the doctor about the ammenhorea? Did she how long it takes to reverse it?
I know we were at opposite sides of the spectrum, but at my highest weight, my cycles were completely unpridictable - I would go 56-70 days in between. As I started losing weight, and right about the time I went from "morbidly obese" to just "obese" my cycles started evening out - now they come like clock work every 27-28 days.
It truly is amazing how delicately balanced our systems are!
Hi Sophie! With all that exercise it it so unlikely you will put on. Even if you are not exercising on the day you are eating.
But well done for doing it even though it makes you feel uncomfortable. I know it is really not easy for ex-anorexics and you should be so proud for cultivating such a healthy attitude to food! Kepp listening to your brain, and not that little inner voice, you know you need those carbs!!!
