OHMYGOD M! look how much weigh youve got left to go!! its hardly any! woweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
i bet you will beat to my target weight you walking machine - and i only gots 7lbs to go
xx
its taken me since february to put on 5lbs and lose them again
so actually im still in the same place as february. LETS FIGHT THE FLAB
i willlll make it to 112
and you will make it to your target!!
its weird cos when i dont think about losing weight i lose it. i think its because im not thinking about food. i have this hideous thing left over from my eating disorder where everything revolvces around food and calculating what i eat and what times i eat and what i can and cant do etc etc.
it used to be obsessive. i remember once i ate a polo mint and i made myself run around the block again and again because i was so frightened i would gain weight. id say i was taking in about 700-800 caloories per day then. no wonder my weight drops off slowly - my metabolism must have been pretty dormant.
one down side is that i lost my periods. i still dont have them and i have to admit im pretty worried about it. what if they dont come back. will that make me infertile?
i havent been to the doctor... i told my mum but she said i was being silly and that they will come back. but its been 18 months. should i make an appointment? xx
yeah ok. i will call up tomorrow and arrange one for friday - i am at college that day which is nr the surgery. i know it is a common effect of extreme weight loss but i didnt think it would continue for this long...
She's right Sophie, make the appointment to see your doctor. I hear it's common in girls to lose their periods when having an eating disorder, but I don't know how it works on getting it back. I'm sure your okay, but make that appointment to be on the safe side!!
You'll be fine sweetie, so don't worry about it to much okay??? You also work out a lot and I've heard athletic people/women also lose their periods a lot also. Sooo, your body might just be going through some change. Keep me posted.
Hugs
Kim
I have had amenorrhea this past year for 6 months. Mine was more or less likely due to birth control pills that I stopped taking. But yah there are many reasons why you can get it.
Your diet, severe weight fluctuation, and well things that only pap's can tell you about. Many women go through this at least once in their life so I'd say you probably don't have anything to worry about, but it is always the best idea to get it checked out. Glad you're going to do so. I'm about due to go get my annual as well.
thankyou honeys
i'll let you know what happens etc
