somewhat complicated...

To start off i have been really working out for the last 6 months or so, and i have come up with some questions and concerns during this time.
I will start with my diet, body type, and rutine.
I eat about 5-6 times a day a total of 2400 cal. I am 6'0 and currently tip the scales at 165. not sure on body fat, my electronic scale is broken and will tell me from %25-14% in random order, so i can not put any faith in the reading.
I work out at least 4 times a week and do only weight lifting in order to gain mass, and not be skinny. Supplements include: hydroxycut, creakic creatine, whey protine, and a muilti vitamin.

I have pretty good genetics, i was pretty strong before i worked out considering i really never did much of anything active. Now that i have started working out, i have really good definition all around.

now on to my questions

I feel as though i may be getting to a point in my mind of being too big in parts of my body (my arms) when in comparision to other parts(my chest) but all around i am thinking i am getting a little too big for my body type. How can i keep from getting too big, while still being able to work out in a similar manner to what i have been doing.

I really want to put on mass, while still cutting. So far it has been doing pretty good, but i cant help but wonder if i am doing somthing wrong. Somthing like not eating right, so i am cutting too much and not gaining anything? sounds paranoid i know when compared to my first question

any comments or thoughts to any of this?

6 feet tall and 165 lbs, I promise, without even seeing you, you do not look "too big." Haha, if only the rest of us could think like that.

Listen, there are no secrets.....if you are trying to put on some size via muscle mass, drop the hydroxycut, eat way more than you are currently, and hit the weights hard focusing on compound exercises for all the major muscle groups each week. That is it in a nutshell.

I am 5'11 and 190 lbs, and when I am bulking, I eat close to 4000 calories each day! And that is just enough to get me to gain, so you seem like a pretty skinny guy, and I would bet that you are in a calorie deficit right now. And a deficit is NOT condusive to gaining muscle!

What kind of weight lifting routine are you doing right now? What are you eating?

165lbs at 6'0" is not a hulking man at all. maybe your arms are getting too big compared to your chest, back and shoulders...and that would make you look out of proportion for sure.

2,400 is not anywhere near enough calories for you to bulk up. and after 6 months, you can NOT bulk and cut at the same time. Pick one or the other and stick to it, then alternate. That's the way this game works. Only newbies are lucky enough to cut and bulk simultaneously, because any form of exercise will cause muscles to grow, and fat to be burned.

You need to add more calories and maybe fix upt he diet.
post your workout for the whole week, and we'll tell you where you're lacking. my guess is way too much arm work, not nearly enough chest and back work. i'd almost wager you don't do enough leg work too (just a common mistake/area people neglect)
