Some questions regarding breaks and the routine itself...

1. I haven't worked out in about four days now because of some crap that happened this week (no physical injuries ... just got busy with other stuff). Is it OK to take five days off and then go back into the same routine as if I had done it two days ago? Or do I need to drop the weights a little at first? I'm worried that I'm going to lose all of the strength I've been gaining. Last time I took a week off was about two months ago I believe.

2. What is the best pre-workout routine? What to eat and what to do?

(By the way I am trying to bulk up...)
 
1) If anything you will be stronger. Taking a break will give you muscles time to fully recover.

2) For pre workout food I try to get some good fat and protien than after working out its protien and carbs
