small but important...

I'm now one week into my program. I'm using the Livestrong.com tracker, which I love. It's easy and intuitive in regards to things I've eaten. It finds the item quickly and stores the calories and other info right away. It has fun emails with "badges" for all kinds of newbie stuff. I was a former weight watchers, but I'm just so tired of points, and I couldn't stay motivated.

I hope to post at least a couple times a week and read daily for inspiration. I also plan to add visualization to the plan. I want to start dating again, so this is a real incentive for me.

Hello Pc8! This forum is a great place to find motivation, but with any weigh loss program, you get back what you put into it. Always stay accountable to yourself. Use your journal as your support. Come here to rant, rave, share and celebrate. We love to help each other!

Have you seen this thread: http://weight-loss.fitness.com/threads/16575-Welcome-to-the-Journals-Diaries-at-WLF

It's a great place to start, the questionnaire can help YOU figure out what you want and what you need to work on. It can also help us get to know you and help you with areas you need support in.

The biggest thing is to never let this journey get you down. It's not a diet, its a way of life. You're doing this for a better you. A good rule of thumb is, if you eat something, and you feel in your gut that it's not good for you, then it probably isn't. If you have a bad day, and you're feeling guilty, you should still post here. It can help keep you focused.

Good luck on your journey, and don't forget to post!
