sleep problems from overtraining?

i think the sleep problem may have to do with poor nutrition. i havent been eating that much, ive been drinking booze and partying / clubbing late at night. booze plus a lack of healthy foods (fruits and vegetables and other vitamin rich foods) is a no no. time to get into a healthy kind of life style!
 
if you DO look into something for sleep. might i suggest Melatonin?

you can get it at GNC. Comes in 1 mg dissolvable tabs or 3 mg pills. Go with the 1 mg tabs, they are cherry flavored and they dissolve under your tongue, giving faster absorption into the blood stream.

k, so i had to use wikki for the product info, cause ppl in here might want to know. but not to worry, i went into the GNC w/the printout and cross-checked the entire thing with the Natural Medicine Comprehensive Database, which is the site I was going to use in the first place, but I would have to subscribe (sorry wolvie, but your sleep is just not worth $9.79 per month to me ;) j/k)

I use it whenever I have the time for a full 8 hrs of sleep, which is the only time I would recomend using it as it doze cause day time drowziness if you get less than 7 hrs. At 8 hrs you won't even notice it.


One warning that I feel obligated to give you is the one the clerk at GNC gave me when I bought mine. He said that if I experience nightmares thatI should bring it back and he would refund my cash. I asked all about this "nightmare" bull b/c obviously THAT wouldn't help me sleep much better. He said that only about 5% of ppl experience it, but if you do, they are vivid. I have had no problems and i know 2 ppl that also took it, neither of them had any problems.

If you do decide to go with it, here is the link to the product overview at GNC. This is the exact one I purchased. Only diff. is that you americans pay a crapload less than us canadians for it.

for sleeping, i bought a bottle of ZMA and GABA. However, I have not opened either. I want to start takin them when I have more essays and my final examns come up, cause then i KNOW ill need the sleep. maybe ill start taking ZMA now... im gonna be workin out hard in the next few day.sz
 
Deer ticks transfer it to humans. It SUCKS bad! Sleep problems, weakness and many times death.

well my fellow pumpers,

sleep has been great until...

i decided to workout my back legs and pecs over two days. lets just say i tossed and turned all night...

today i took a great nap. i felt re-energized! my muscles felt much better as well. so im thinkin about making a program where i get a day off everytime i hit the weights. PURE DAY OFF, but some cardio is OK :D

SO ANYWAY, i have a weird question - i finally opened up my bottle of ZMA and im gonna start taking it. but it has a weird... smell... is this normal? it really stinks lol i hope its not bad or something.
 
Yeah, you bought the ass flavored ZMA. It's okay though you'll get used to it, they all smell bad. Where ya been wolvie?
 
And that's the #1 reason I don't smell my supps. Just choke em down.

This works except for those damn fish caps....I burp up nemo all freakin day after a couple caps.

How's class going, wolvie? Has to be close to spring break...?

yeah i just won't sniff them lol

works has piled up. i gotta get my act together and finish it all this weekend. i think i can if i put my mind to it.

my strength is back up man, im so happy. my deadlift is back up to 275 again, and i can hit 6 reps way better than before. my bench press is back up to 225, and once again i can hit a solid 6 reps real well. i was able to hit 2 on 245...

no spring break. im in U of T, which is in Canada... they have some bull**** called "reading week."

i cant wait to finish in may so i can really focus my energy on the working out... im gonna get my max up to 300 on bench press with the ill quickness (i hope)
