Hi, I am finally going to start my diary. I have been a member here for a short while, and I have to say it really gets you motivated. So lets see, where to start.....

My start weight was 192. I was able to get down to 145 my the atkins plan. Which by the way, if you don't mind all the artery clogging fat, is the best diet plan ever!! YUMMY. When I was down to 145 I decided to try and do it right, eat better and excercise, what was I thinking. That was much harder!!LOL..

I was able to get down to 138 and was getting really happy with the way I was looking, Then.........

I got really busy at work last July, putting in 14-16 hour long days. My husband and I have our own business, so it is just us....It is pretty labor intensive, always on my feet walking and lifting. So when I would get home at 8-9 o'clock all I wanted to do was shower and go to bed...Because of the late nights, I started eating fast food on the way home, and POOF, I am now back up to 148. I have been really working at the lately and have so far lost 4lbs. I am fixing to start the team spring challenge, so I am hoping its going to give me a good kick in the butt.

Goals: I want to get down to 125-130...I would love to be in a bikini by the summer....so would my husband, lol

Meals usually consist of:

Breakfast: 2 pieces of double fiber ww toast w/butter 90
1 lowfat, lowsugar vanilla yogurt w/cinnamon 80?
diet dr.p

lunch: either a turkey lite sand. from quiznos or chicken fajitas
1 tortilla only, with a little rice and bean, and of course all the meat

snack: sometimes, if time allows a snack bar 150

dinner: I try to keep it pretty light, lately it has been an eggbeaters scramled egg sandwich, or a baked potatoe with a little fake butter, but usually something light....

Anyway, I will check in as often as I can...

Well, I just had lunch, chicken fajitas...It is 12:30, so I guess I better get out there and get some work done today...I am really having a lazy day. A really bad storm came thru this morning and it is still raining a little. It's the kinda day you just want to curl up and stay in bed.

The storm is supposed to be gone tomorrow. So for the Bikini Babes challenge, I plan to spend my 30 minutes outside washing and grooming my dogs.....

Hope to get home at a descent time and get some treadmill in!!! I have got to start excercising again!!!!!

Congrats on joining the forum and starting you're journal.

Being "Bikini Babes" is rather inspiring. I hoping to get into one this summer. We're going to kick this challenge - GO TEAM!
 
Its Monday and I am wriitng while I have the chance.... This past weekend, I did good!! (pat on the back) I was especially good, eating wise, and spent my 30 minutes outside for my team....Washed my dogs...Which is a task, considering they are not expecially fond of their baths, so I know I burned some extra calories there, plus got a lot wet. Can't wait for summer....

Today at lunch was very hard for me though. We went to eat my normal chicken fajitas, but the special of the day was cheese enchiladas, my FAVORITE!!! Thank god my husband was there to stop me!! It was really hard though!!

Anyway, best get back to work, he will be looking for me soon lol....

Its Tuesday morning and I am just about to go outside and do my 30 minute walk, but I can't find my dogs leash. So instead I spend my 30 minutes walking around the house looking for it. STUPiD!!!!!

So now I'm starting the day aggrevated!! Oh well, it can only get better, right? I guess I will have to go to plan B, 30 minute walk outside tonite...

This is my 3rd day writing in my diary, and it still feels kinda weird. I hope its not too boring, but I will get better...Im still trying...

Dinner?

Gonna stay strong today

My goal for the day: Try to get in extra excercise while working. I know this sounds weird, but my job is laborsome and involves alot of walking, but I was thinking I could to some leg lifts or something while walking.

Hey! Hopefully the rest of your day will be less aggravating! It sounds like you are really doing great, you must really love those chicken fajitas lol. I'm a vegetarian now, and one thing I do miss is fajitas from my favorite mexican restaurant...so yummy lol. I am hoping to get a job this summer where I am active. While I'm at school, I literally sit for about 9 hours a day, its really pretty bad. Well, I'll see you around. Go Bikini Babes!
 
Hi....Its wednesday morning....Yesterday afternoon I was good, I think....For dinner, since we got home late once again, I had 3 individual sizes of mashed potatoes and gravy from KFC. I looked it up and each one has 120 calories. It was the best I could do so late. I did not want to really blow it and get a burger and fries, thats for sure...I have been weighing every morning for the past 5 or 6 days. At one point I was down 2 pounds, and now for some reason its all back. I have been watching what I eat very closely so I am not sure what the problem is. The only thing I can think of is that the rice I am eating with the chicken fajitas may be more cals than I thought. I usually only eat the rice, beans, and chicken....

I was reading wishes journal and caught a glimpse of the sacred heart diet...I'm thinking I might do it for 7 days just to get a kick start....Niapage is doing it right now, I hope it works for her also....

well as i always say "gotta make the donuts"

Howdy , You didn't do too bad I thought about getting KFC in a healthier way than my usual "KFC BOWL" lol I wanted a piece of baked breast and 1 sm mash no gravy and a side of green beans I am pretty sure it is under 500 cals fat was low as well.Your not boring and jotting this down will help you out the most! Have a great day, Oh by the way the SH diet isn't bad but you HAVE to do it to a "T' for it to work and since you weigh only 144 I don't think 10-17 lb weightloss will happened but maybe more like a 5-7??

Okay, so I decided to give the SH diet thing a go. Last night I went to the store and bought everything I needed. I made the soup last night.
Today is the first day. I gotta say, I really do not care for the soup, but I have committed to it. I am thinking of puree-ing the soup, that way I can just drink it... I am pretty confident I can do it, i mean it is only 7 days right. All I gotta say, is I cant wait until banana day!! It also helps that my hubby is doing it with me. He is not all that fond of it either, but we are going to give it a go...

day 1 - 144

I am sure the soup is not all that bad, we are just not big veggie eaters. The ones we actually do like, is of course the ones we cant have lol..

Well gotta go, Good luck niapage and wishes, I know what its like now, and I'm only on day 1 lol

I totally hear ya I am not a big veggie eater either,when I calorie count my veggies are mixed veggies which are corn,peas carrots and green beans the basics I actually can eat the soup and I am hoping to learn from this and be more creative so I can eat more of the greener veggies.I never thought in a million years I could eat green pepper and celery but I diced them so small and it's all cooked together so not bad,oh and the stewed tomatoes I let it all cook together then out came the tomatoes to the trash lol. Well goodluck day1 isn't bad because I like fruit day 2 is veggies so I basically ate the soup all day along with greenbeans.

Okay, wow, I simply could not do it!! The soup just tasted worse and worse. It made me want to throw up!! Well I just wanted to do it for a kick start. Guess I will have to do it the old fashioned way, ugh!! I knew that, just wishful thinking, getting rid of 5 or so lbs. real quick....It sucks because I spent all that time making the soup and spent money on food Im not gonna eat. The only good thing I can say is at least I have alot of fruit in the house right now!! I just gotta eat it before it goes bad.

All I have to say is Niapage and wishes "YOU GO!!" I hope you make it and it will be worth it in the end...I will be reading to see how you do..

I dont know why, but for the last week my sleep pattern has been seriously screwed up. I have got to suck it up and get it back on schedule.
It looks like Im going to have to get into the habit of working out in the mornings, I just do not have the time in the evenings...I really hate getting up early, but it is the only way I can do it. So I am going to bed now, so I can try tomorrow.....ughhhhhh!!!

Okay, I was looking forward to this morning. I know it has only been one day, but that soup was just awful. Maybe I made it wrong, I don't know. It is funny though, never thought I would be looking forward to "diet" food. lol

I had a Diet Dr.Pepper and a bananna for breakfast, and man was it goooood....
I got up a little earlier than usual in an effort to get my sleeping pattern back to normal. My plan is to get up a little early for the next couple of days. Then on Monday start working out in the morning. Hopefully I will be able to stick to it. We are going 4 wheeling at the begining of June, and I really want to be fit for that. I am hoping I can lose my weight, or come close to it by then....

Well I hope everyone has a great Easter!!!!!!!!!!!
 
Its been a couple of days since my last post... I made it through easter okay. I was kinda lucky, did not have to go to any family functions, so I was not around any food I could not have. I had to put in half a day at work, so burned some extra calories there...but.........
I weighed this morning and I am down to 142!! I hope it sticks, one day I'm up and the next I'm down. Its very aggrevating!! But at least for today I'm down...

Well for breakfast I had 2 pieces of double fiber ww toast with fake light butter, a bannana, and a cup a skim milk. I have been trying to cut out the Diet Dr.Peppers and I am doing a pretty good job. I ususally only have 1 a day anyway, but I am trying to save it for when I really need it. I have been concentrating on making sure I get enough water during the day. I have been doing pretty well in that department. Its hard though, at night I usually reach for the glass of splenda sweetened tea, but now I am reaching for water. At first it was hard, but now its really not that bad.

Well as far as excercise goes, I totally suck in that department. I cant seem to get on any kind of a schedule, I am trying for early morning workouts, but gosh I HATE HATE HATE mornings. But it is the only time I have that is consistent. Hubby is going to do it with me, but he has pulled a back muscle, so he can't quite yet. So I guess that leaves it on me!! I keep telling myself GET UP!! Oh well, I will get to it, just gotta keep trying.

I know how you feel about the soda. I used to drink 3-4 Diet Cokes a day, but I have managed to cut them out completely (except for special occasions). It was actually a lot easier than I thought it would be. I was expecting to go through a major caffeine withdrawal, but luckily I just had one little headache and it was over lol. It sounds like you are doing great though. I still am trying to figure out a workout schedule. Its hard for me with just having classes, I cant imagine what I am going to do when I have a job this summer! I think once you force yourself to just do it for a few weeks and make yourself stick to your plan, it will become routine and you wont stress over it.
