Skittles New Weight Loss Diary

The last time I was here I had been doing so well and just all of a sudden fell off track. I started getting slower and slower on my workouts and then eventually quit doing them all togethor and ended up getting back into the fast food spiral all over again. This time things are different, my mom and I have bought the biggest loser cookbook and figured out exactly how many calories we need to eat per day and I have even joined a gym, although I haven't been able to go this past week since I've been sick, I am looking forward to being able to go tomorrow night. It's a lot easier to stick with this plan since you are never starved, I think that was my biggest problem before the fact that I was not eating enough calories and I was staying hungry all the time. We started the diet two weeks ago and I have already lost 13 pounds and gone down a size. Hopefully this time I'll be able to keep it up!

This morning I weighed and had lost two more pounds, I think it must have a lot to do with all of the water I'm drinking this time and the fact that I have cut out soda, except for one diet mountain dew last week. Yay Me!!!!!!!

This morning I had gained .4 pounds but since I went to the gym last night I'm hoping that I replaced the fat with muscle and that's why it's showing a gain.

I have finally reached my first goal. I have dropped below 280 and I'm now at 279.8 which I was afraid would go back up this morning but it didn't I'm still exactly the same. I'm hoping for 278 tomorrow!

Awsome job Skittle, congrats on hitting your first goal.

Keep up the hard work and dedication. Even thou it may be a long road to hit that final goal I have found out that every pound I lose raises my hopes up that much more. I've only been on my diet for two weeks and since I started I have never felt better about myself knowing that I am burning the weight off. It really raises your spirt knowing you are succeding and with that helps in keeping you going.

I lost another .8 lbs this morning, the weight might actually come off faster if I can get on a consistent workout schedule, right now there is just so much going on in my life that it's hard to do.

I went to a strength training class last night and now I'm in so much pain but I had a blast. I also lost another pound today so its now 18 down and 126 to go.

Hey Skittles!

I'm currently down to 272.0 exactly 3.0 pounds from my second mini-goal which is to be below 270. My first milestone is to hopefully be below 240 by the time I go to my next doctors appt in June.
