hey kate, just checking in on you. how's the new walking plan going ? and, lunges too!! wow! Great job. If you are indeed hitting that mini-plateau that you were talking about, you will get it before it gets you!

noo!! LOL Im a wimp for the lunges! Not doing any for now.

I got in four miles this morning, but it sucked. Im just at a loss about this stupid stupid bp of mine. Im deciding to go to half a pill a day. Not two halves a day. Screw this. Im really pissed off about this, can u tell? I cant describe the pain in my back from this! It usually doesnt start until the walk back home going uphill. It so sux because I KNOW my workouts would be downright enjoyable if I didnt have this awful pain fromthe low bp! and my numbers are too close together! 88/64. That is ridiculous! HOPEfully the decrease in my meds will cure this crap. :mad::mad:

Wow, that rant felt GOOD! :p:D
 
Glad you got your work out in. I"m sorry the low BP's are such a pain! :( No idea what to tell you on that aspect.. but I am glad you were able to vent here!!
 
You are doing so great! I hope you are happy with the number on the scale tomorrow. One of these days, I will be anxiously awaiting the time when I am below the 150's!
 
well i DID just get a call from the nurse to my doc...she said no problem with just half a pill! She said the weight loss and exercise is probably whats causing such low readings, and if I keep this up, that I may be off of them for good! Well, hell, Ill believe it when it happens, but Yay!:);)

Welll crapola, where is menopause when you need it:mad: Started TOM last night, so THAT explains why every little thing drove me nuts yesterday! Came a little early, and I feel like a cramped Mac truck!

I weighed in and am exactly what I thought Id be. 149 so thats a one pound loss, so despite the TOM Im right on track. (secretly tho? Im hoping this means maybe a cool THREE pounder loss for next Friday :eek: )

So am off to change the ol ticker. Ive decided to also follow dr advice to change my ticker to what I weighed back in December at my office visit with her. It just seems so much better to see that Ive lost now, 17 pounds all together. I was 162 when I came here, but didnt ever put the other four poundsthat I had just lot. Well screw it, Im doing it now:D:D


Hope everyone has a really great weekend! We here in Tx are enjoying some more much needed rain. At least, here in central Tx. yay!

Sorry about tom, mine is right around the corner and I'd almost rather deal w/ tom then pms! since i had my tubes tied, its been BAD!

LOL, glad this is a woman dominated site we can talk about those things!

Hey ya Kate :D Sorry it's been so long since I've been back here:eek: That TOM sucks! I am just getting "over" it and I too, am hoping the scale shows some major improvements!! LOL Great job on the pound with TOM creepin' up on you! That is never a good reading for me :rolleyes: AHHH menopause... My mom got the big M early so hopefully I will too! YAY! (Although I am not sure about the hot flash thing... oh well, a small "price" to pay :p :D )
Keep up the awesome work and have a great day today (and tomorrow and the rest of the week! hehehehehe)

As for AF, see how wonderful you're doing ,losing weigh even durin gthen! Have you found that the PMS is better now that you're eating less and healthier? At least for me.. it makes a big difference! Keep it up gal! :)

Its official....I am long distance yakking with sis tonight, and we have decided to do our beer fest together.(Cheat Night~ :D)I told her in email that I would be heading her way soon,because I am almost at my halfway mark, and to be ready!!! I just really enjoy the visit, and I am going to try to come alll by myself! Just for one night! We are notorious for late night girl talk, playing cards, talking about her latest sweetheart, me talking about my own( Im disgusting, she says, after eight years of marriage, lol) and look soo forward to it! We are like a couple of teenagers, I swear

oh!! I recieved my Valentines gift today!!! H got me a beautiful necklace(he was listening when I was complaining I didnt have one!) and a big ol coffee cup(knows i love coffee) and a cute bear as well. MAN he threw me off! He can never wait to give gifts, silly man.:p
and....i plan on posting pictures at 146. thats 3 pounds away!! Wonder if those 20 pounds lost will show...probably not much, except in my face. So look for those soon!!!:D

Man, I am so jealous of you (but in a good way)! I can't believe I fell off the wagon... I could be right there with you! Boo Hoo.... Oh well, I'm happy for you and getting motivation from your posts right now! Keep it up!
 
aw paula i know you are in a good way! And you ARE in this with me and everyone else! You know that! I know you are proud of all you have done! remember, we have both posted pictures of way back when, when we were both much smaller...and here we are again, both battling it..sure, we could say 'AW man, why oh why arent I still looking like that?' but instead, look where we both come for inspiration? Look at wonderwoman! now theres a good looking woman, who has shown us all how great we can all look! And so many others who are really maintaining!

Yeah, we can do this, and regardless of how long it takes, once we DO get there, we gotta keep coming back here for the maintenance. Im READY too!! First time in my life, im ready for maintenance. Thats a huge step for me!
