My appetite has been zilch most of the day. I had to practically choke down dinner, because I had to have SOME kind of energy!I know I probably shouldnt complain, but I do feel better with some food in me through the day.
been looking at my totals the past few days, and its not enough. its probably why I dont have the energy to walk further than 3 miles. I really enjoy walking hard, and it just hasnt happened the past couple days. Sorry, just rambling in my diary, in hopes of seeing patterns, etc...

Going to really try hard to do my walk sooner in the morning. Didnt get it in until afternoon today. Thats my goal tomorrow. Early, hard walk, if my body will just LET me.
 
Yay for the loss on both things!! Are you taking a multi?? That would help with your energy a whole bunch... I never believed that until I started taking mine :)

THAT is what I need! How thoughtless of me. I used to take them a long while back, and had forgotten that they really can make a difference.

Thanks for reminding me of something so simple. Putting them on a grocery list for tomorrow! Thanks!:D
 
Sounds like you are motivated. I havent even thought of excercise. Keep it up maybe it will rub off on me...LOl. Hope you have a great day today Kate.

Exercise
walked 4 miles, fast. proud of that. bp when i got back was 107/79!!! I think my meds are starting to even out.
walked ANOTHER four miles....IM SOoooo tired.
Ive decided to forego writing my water. I love water and not a problem to drink my gallon. Will only put down if I DONT drink for some reason.

Getting a complete physical on Thursday. Im happy to finally get one, its been seven years. I had a positive pap smear last time, so Im hoping all is well with that. Why do we take our health for granted when we are younger? I sound like my grandma. But now I get what she said. Ive done enough stupid things to mess things up inside me, that Im just now realizing how important it is to keep healthy.

But hey, every one of us here make that choice every day, to eat right and exercise. Yay, us!

ps...scary measurements...at 155...38 36 42 Id like to shave 2 inches off each as soon as possible. thats gross.

You're doing such a great job with your walks! I'm still arguing with my feet to get moving. haha Keep up the great work and momentum and you'll be at your goal in no time. ~MJ

bailey thanks! i feel like thats me there on the ticker. even workin it when im mad hehe.

Im in a bit of shock about my tape measuring just now. recorded it above. a 36 inch waist?? that is a real shocker for me. but its where i put most of my fat, and its also the first place to shrink once i get the weight off. still, thats another WAKE UP KATE call. ugh.
 
Don't be discouraged matey, you're doing really well! Time goes so fast and before you know it, you're going to feel and look so great! I promise! :D
 
Kate, really girl you'll have that waist down soon enough! :) Don't stress over it too much, just take it as a confirmation of why you are working so hard. ;)

Bedsy: thanks, and you know as I read what u put this morning, I was just thinking the same exact thing..that these days are just flying by so fast! I wake up every morning knowing what I have to do. Then I just do it. Days are really adding up!

Newleaf: yes indeed. I am just going to keep plugging along, and hopefully by midway for me, I will see some inches lost as well as pounds on the scale.

Tru: coming from IMO the boards best athlete, many many thanks!

Ok, kicking self into high gear here, will peruse the forum a bit, eat me some breakfast,and hit the pavement. Here we go!

Just finished three very fast miles. It was in the fifties but I was workin a sweat! Btw, I got smiled at by a fellow walker,(big ol grin) and Im not sure but I think flirted with?!! What on earth does a man see in a huffing, sweaty woman going up a hill? hehe. ...... I liked it.:D

So far today, pita and cukes, 100
Need to get some more food in the house. a little more variety. hmmm...I know the dangers of food getting "old" so I better start brainstorming. Gonna buy more in the morning when I get paid.

well done u!

i have walked NOWHERE today! it is throwing it down as per usual, and have been sat in the house bored! i did a half hour of an exercise video, my first attempt, and was tired after that so must have done me some good.

i hear u on the food/boring front, i have no healthy snacks at the mo, so when i just fancy a nibble there's nothing to scran! i need to do a shop, both here in my parent's house, and also for my uni flat.

glad to hear ur bp is good today, my mum has problems with that, as does my friend. can be tricky to negotiate. well done!
