I apologize for not getting to more journals, no excuse except lack of time really. and Fridays are my busy days.

Yeah, about that. Get to my diary every once in a while! I miss ya stopping by! Lol! Just joking! :D

Sorry about that scale acting screwy on you. You know you are doing great!

ok HH thats IT, im headin your way and givin you grief:D

NL yeah hes finally DOIN somethin out in the office(YES!) and on the scale, well, I was thinking of dropping by my Docs office and just kinda using theirs...see that way I dont go nuts on the scale, as mine SUX and I have an appt in April anyway, sooo it would force me to be good, and not want the fear of only a small amount lost here and there, instead it would hopefully be a nice surprise come my appt. that, and it would be accurate.

Yall are right tho, I KNOW Im doing good! I KNOW Im doing all I can do to get to goal. So what the hey! I DO want to get another one soon, though, because Im not CRAZY or anything!:D:D

Yep Girlfriend There Is No Doubt You Will Get To Your Goal Soon You Are Doing So Well And I Know Them Scales Are Awful Its Hard To Find Good Dedicated Ones But Mine Shows 5 Pounds Less I Could Send It To Ya Lol! Anyways Keep Up The Walking You Are Doing Great!

mornin' Kate! I hear ya on the money front and hubby drivin' ya nuts! LOL My hubby's biz is really slow right now, too (hence me working OT today) so $ it super tight. When my hubby is home, "theres nothin' to do" or " I have to do SOMETHING today!".... well, hmmmm let me see... You could... wash the dishes, comb the dog, vacuum the floors, do wash - shall i go on  I guess he used up his "help out" supply a few days ago by cleaning the house for me while I worked and has none left

You ARE doing great and WILL reach your goal! :D You have been an inspiration for many of us and will always be - go to docs hop on that scale and keep up the great work :D

Kate, if you continue like this, you will no doubtley loose some lbs by April. Walking and watching your calories will def. get you there! Good plan on using doc's scale. :)

Heehee!:D things are lookin up! or DOWN! I have BROKEN ZEE PLATEAU! lost another pound, turns out battery was all that was needed. H and kids are all weighing normally again. No scale heaven for my scale! I think Ill Keep it! Am going early Monday morning for a more official weigh in at Docs, but am reeeally happy to finally see this!

(think Mohammed Ali......."my ticker's soo purdee":D )

well my dog's are both starin at me to let them out, so better let em...they are quite obnoxious if they arent let out...always lickin and starting a scuffle play with each other...big ol fools...:p

Hey girl! You can give me all the grief you want to! Lol! :D

Congratulations on breaking the plateau! I knew you could do it! Glad that the scale is working again. I know how hard that can be on ya when that scale is acting screwy. And I hear ya on the money woes. I keep telling myself that I just need to quit school and get a job! Lol! Keep up the great work!

I bet that wa a load off! What kind of dogs do you have? I think your man owes you a treadmill!
I like the way you think! I believe he does too!

my dogs are just big ol mutts that eat us outta house and home. One is a pit mix, who is fat and fixed, the other is skinny, but his long red hair makes him look filled out. Last year we got him shaved for summer, and I swear the other dogs in the neighborhood would come by just to make fun of him:p
My neighbors certainly did! Theyd say'is that Ringo? OMG! he looks so goofy!' and quite frankly, he did! Poor thing, looks like we may do it again this spring. He gets pretty miserable. We hose em both down all the time, and he likes to attack the water out of the hose and that alone makes me laugh and laugh...

Ok, off to do my walk...gonna SHOOT for four, but wont know till i get out there what i will accomplish...wish me luck!

Haha! That's funny - I have a mutt too! He's a St.bernard/Black Lab/husky anmes "Homer" and he's an absolute nut! I hope you have a good day though - take care! :D

Ive tried lovin the cats, I really have! I DO love OTHER people's cats, and on a funny note, two cats were makin booboo-love on my walk earlier. :D dont see THAT too often!

Food:
pinapple parfait(need to get MORE!)100
chicken and veggies 230
baked apple 100
430 so far
coffee 100
breakfast burrito 350
pb toast 150
1030
3 miles, 10 stair sets
thinkin about taking the kids to the dam, where there is a beautiful trail to walk on...

Hey girl! Just stopping by to check in on ya. ;)

I noticed in a post in someone's diary, you said you did TOPS a while back. What exactly do they offer you when you join that? I have been thinking about it because they have meetings really close to me, but I just don't know if it is worth committing to going each week. I mean, if they don't offer anything new, why bother right?

what a lovely sight with the cats hey.....!!! i never used to like cats, but two lived in our house in south africa whilst we were there, and we named and trained them when no one else had bothered. they were supposed to be there to kill the snakes and rats, but spent more time asleep on my knee!!

a walk by a dam sounds lovely, is it far from your home?

HH:
TOPS was nice, because they had lots of awards dinners and such, and everyone could choose whatever way they wanted to, to lose their weight. I just liked it because I liked trying to win awards and all. Im not so competitve now, but guess I was back then. And I liked getting to meet more people too. There's a small fee for a year, or there was back then.

Lerato:
yeah its about ten minutes away. Theres a lot of history on the dam, lots of artwork and such. I like it because there is a ' natural' spot there where there is a big hill with loads of trees, and the roots of the trees act as spots to sit...its just really pretty. and theres also a small creek there that sometimes we like to wade thru. Its great because you can get a little extra exercise climbing the hills and have a great view too.

Hey ya Kate:D I love my Kitty but he's old, old so I know I don't have too long left with him. Refuse to get another when hes gone since we have the birds - my cat doesn't realize he's a cat (or doesnt' care) and is afraid of the birds

We shave our dog too (st. bernard/chow). He hides for two weeks afterwards and will actually get a sunburn if we dont' pay attention and keep him out of the sun! LOL he gets so embarrassed by his nakedness! LOL Hes pitiful sometimes :D

Hope you enjoy(ed) your walk... wish I had time today, but thanks to OT, I don't  Tomorrow. Definitely tomorrow! :D

Keep up the awesome work :D

I'm considering joining but just don't know if I can actually make the commitment to go to the meetings. I'm really bad about that sort of thing. After a long day at school and a lot of crap, I just want to go home. They have an online thing but just really don't know if I should even bother. I mean, if it's only going to give me support, I already get that here.

EXACTLY MY POINT!:D

So it does nothing besides support and the awards? I thought they gave you some kind of weight loss info and help with meal plans or something.
