Skinny guy need help

Hi I am 28 years old and I have not worked out sense highschool, people often mistake me for being 15 some times I am just small. I want to work out and get bigger and look more well my age. What i am worried about is that, sense ive not done any kind of work out for over 10 years now how hard should i start out. I am really weak looking and, I feel it to and i am not sure if I start out if it is possible i can over do it and hurt my body. I gota increase my eating more to I have been told, any advise anyone can give me on how to start out would be greatful thanks for reading have a great day.
 
Read some threads in the men's weight training forum. There you can read about full body workouts and take one of them to use. Weight training 101 is helpful.

Work with the heavy basic compound lifts
Learn as much as you can about nutrition because that is a huge part of the equation with putting on size
5-6 small meals a day with protein in each meal
