size32someday journal of doom and despair

AHeya Mark :)

It's been a few days, hope you are ok :)

I too can't have peanut butter in the house!!! It would be calling to me like you wouldn't believe. And yeah, i too could eat it in one sitting.

Hi Sarah. Yea walking would be a good idea. It will likely be at a gym though and not outside.

Hi Tink thanks for stopping by.

Hi Kate Peanut butter can definitely be addicting. I think someone in my family used up all my apples to make apple crisp.

My diet hasnt been bad. still eating my usual chicken and stuff. havent lost any weight in about 2 weeks. i think its about as far as I can go without exercising..Im going to have to really do something because if the weight doesnt move then im just wasting time.

AHeya Mark :)

Don't give up mate, we all reach a pause. I proper sulked when i reached that point and everyone told me to shake things up a bit. Maybe eat different things or something but don't give up. You are not wasting your time. You areeating healthily and that is better than eating crap!!!!!

Walking at the gym is fine. I started just walking at the gym before i turned into a running freak. I know you said something about medical problems, can you 'gently' use the cross trainer or bike. Just to shake things up a bit. They are low impact.

Sending you lots of positive 'kick butt' vibes :)

Hey Size32...sorry I havn't been here for awhile..and wanted to thank you for stopping by my diary with well wishes. I'm better now and hope to get back to exercising tomorrow. As Kate says...we all reach pauses, plateau's etc...just keep at it and you will get benefits...I've been at it 9+ months and sometimes it goes faster than others!

I'll be away on business trip for 2 weeks so I wont be in much over the next 2 weeks, so we'll catch up when I get back!

Sarah

hi Kate i hope your right. it did move a little this morning. it went from 204 to 203. its the first time ive seen it move in awhile.

Hi Sarah thanks for stopping by. enjoy your trip!

Hey Size32...where are you? My trip went well...exhausting, but productive. Back in China now...and ready to rock into Spring! It's about time!!

Looking forward to hearing from you!

Sarah

hi guys. didnt mean to disappear so long. scale hasnt been moving at all so loosing momentum. still working on my food and trying to get proportions back in line. been eating alot of teriyaki chicken which isnt so good on a diet. see everyone soon!

Hey size32someday,

Good to see you back! I'm going to steal feelingooder's line here (as he gave the tip to me) and recommend fat2fitradio.com and especially the podcasts. They are helping me stay motivated and hearing others success stories (and what they did when things failed) and their explanations on matabolism and why the "scales don't move" is causing me to reflect on my strategy to lose those next 45 pounds to my goal weight. I highly recommend it...give it a try and don't you quit, don't you quit, don't you quit!!

Sarah

Main thing is to get (and keep) moving if you're anything like most of us. Trying to go at it with diet alone can be tough. When I started out back in January, the majority of my cardio and exercise in general consisted of walking to and from work.

Credit for fat2fit goes back to oldschool who recommended the podcasts to me back in January. I've loaded up my ipod with several different podcasts to help cram more and more useful tidbits of information into my head and it's greatly helped keep me on plan.

Hope to see you back here on a more regular basis. Have a great Easter weekend.
