Situps with weight.

After doing sit ups for about 2 months every 2nd day and sometimes 3rd day at night before i go to bed i have now switched to placing a 2.3 kg weight on my chest and holding it there with my arms crossed over and i did 2 sets of 30 sit ups instead of what i have been which is 2 sets of 50 which was quite easy but gave me a rather nice burn but now that i am using weights to do 30 it is much much better :) i am no pro but if your doing 100 situps now you should switch to some weight and work your way up to 100 with the weight and then add more weight. And my abs are coming along really nice :) cant wait to get a picture up
 
I use 30 pounds (13kg), on an incline situps :p

But yeh I agree, there's no use to just doing millions of setups without weight...if you can do so many.
 
I do crunches on a stability ball and hold the weight (a dumbbell) over my chest (not on it). To make the exercise more difficult, I can hold it above my head so that's parallel to the ground when I'm in the "down" position.
