I started on this website yesterday and am determined to lose the 30lbs I've been wanting to lose for a long time. I've done yo-yo diets, I've tried diet pills, you name a diet - I've done it...aktins, south beach, hollywood diet, cabbage soup diet, kaiser diet...the list can go on forever.
Here's my fresh approach:
By eating healthy foods, low in fat and carbs - eating more greens, and proteins. Drinking less alcohol, lots of water and green tea. Having protein shakes, taking multivitamin and natural supplements - I can do this.
By exercising 5 days a week - doing an hour of cardio atleasr 2-3 times a week, working out with my trainer 2 times a week for an hour. Being active when I know I can't go to the gym - by taking walks, running, dancing, doing yoga, jumping jacks, running up and down the stairs, sit ups...
I CAN DO THIS!
I started yesterday - my weight was 170lbs, today I am at 169.4lbs. My goal is 140lbs. I seem to stay around 170lbs...give or take 2-3 lbs here and there. I need to amp up my workouts and eat very healthy.
I worked out yesterday for 50 minutes doing cardio. I did 15 minutes on the treadmill, holding 3 lb weights in each hand at a 8.0 incline. Then I did the stairclimber for 15 minutes at level 6. And lastly, the eliptical for 20 minutes at level 5, and 60 RPMs.
Today's plan is to eat healthy and workout with my trainer for an hour after work.
