Shoulder Problems

hey guys, i have been havin a lil problem in the weight room here lately...i switched my routine up a lil bit and one thing i switched was my tricep routine which i switched to doing kickbacks with dumbells, and ever since i switched it all up i have been having major problems with both of my rotator cuffs both sides hurt so bad i cant haldly do my lifts...was just wonderin if this is common and is just part of switching to this type of lift or if there is a way i could build up the muscle around there so its not so painful? maybe im doing something wrong too im not sure.

if you do kick backs, you got to make sure that you dont extend you arm. Doing this and youll strain your shoulder capsule which might be the source of your pain.

Im no gym rat so i just use may chair to work my triceps, does em great.

Unfortunately, I deal with tendonitis in my elbows and am currently dealing with shoulder tendonitis like you. From my experience: Do not exercise through the pain!!! Instead, try ice and a Non-steroidal anti-inflammatory like Advil. Then, when the pain has subsided, wait another 2 weeks before resuming. The next time, stretch like a mutha.

Here is a good page that has a lot of stretching exercises:
