Should I do anything else after/before my HIIT Workout.

Well Im a beginner to the whole HIIT thing so I could only sustain about a 5 min workout. The question it is should I to something after I do my HIIT workout? I mean a 5 min workout is cool and all, but it feels as if should throw in some weight training after i recover from the workout.

HIIT is a Anerobic workout and its quite riguorous. Its safe to do HIIT on non-weight lifting days.
