Well I'm 18 years old and only about 130 pounds, atm I'm trying to get my mass up.
Following a 3 day split put together from serveral different work outs, It considers of a strength, muscle and burn set/s. My BF is 11% and I'm wondering should I focus on just getting bigger or should I be focusing on getting bigger and reducing my belly and body fat. I started getting back to working out after sometime, I'm into my fourth week. Also I'm taking, these supplements:
Casien/Whey protien, its a blend of both.
Mass up.
USP Prime.
I was considering on my off days to do this
What I'm doing atm is Massing up trying to get as big as I can within 2 months and then at the beginning of the 3 months it would be to rip up the muscle I gained. The See-saw effect.
Every week the weight is increasing, I make sure to increase the weight by at least 5 pounds on my strength sets. And I try to master the weight within the time, for example the strength max rep is 5 so I'll try to hit all 5 reps for the 4 sets and if I can't the next week I'll do the same weight trying to master that weight.
My father who's been lifting weights since out of high school has told me not to do since I'm trying to gain mass and and i'll be losing weight on it. He can be a bit stubborn at times.
What I'm saying is, Why can't I just keep my calorie/food intake to keep my mass up and gain but do the Spartacus workout to reduce my BF, or is that not possible?
My goal is to cut my BF to at 8% and if lower to 6% would be even greater.
