Shellsy's way!

Just to let ya's know I'm fine, I've been sick and FINALLY was diagnosed with Vasovagal syncope. I've been fainting for years (it just happened again) I always thought it was from my ear problems-turns out not! So I've been real busy going to see doctors and stuff- thanks for thinking of me!

Well was wondering what'd happened... glad to hear it's getting treated (and hopefully you'll be better soon)

Wow its been a bit! I can't say my medical issues are solved either, but I have the next 2 days off to go see a few specialist which I hope can help me. It's funny the last few years I 've suffered with awful headaches that they could never relive andI think we may be finding the answer to them soon.((PLEASE))

So I haven't worked out at all since all this crap happened, and I haven't been worrying too much about my diet. I by no means have been eating fast food or anything gross, but I have been enjoying some home cooking meat and potatoes. The one huge thing that I haven't touched in over a week is ALCOHOL!! I know shocker lol. Hey maybe not drinking will balance out me eating. :D

Anyway I have to get in touch with Sara soon to re vamp everything, I think I'm gonna stick to working out in my basement with what equipment I have. I do have some good stuff.

I'll be in touch! Hope everyone is doing well, haven't much time to read up!

That must be frustrating to be sick and not know how make the illness go away. Hopefully you'll get some answers soon.

As for working out, yeah using your own gear is probably the best approach - no excuses about having to go to the gym or the time. But sometimes it's harder with the gear right there than having to go out to use it. Different strokes for different folks I suppose.

Started the Beta-blocker last night. Main side effect is fatigue so we shall see. Feel good today though. Though getting fatter by the day, can't wait to put the bikini on

Well I only started it last night, and though I felt good all day -no headaches at all just a few hours ago I went blind in part of my left eye! I put my legs up and relaxed for a few and it came back. It's the 2nd time this has happened. I'm fine now though. I'm gonna google the type of beta blocker I'm on to see. So crazy I tell you! It's like I almost get into such an intense emotional state that my body just reacts by shutting down. Least now I know legs above the heart. Back to the doctors on Tuesday

*Update*

Ok ppl! I'm back to my posting! I had/have a lot going on but all in all health wise I'm feeling good again! I wanna (as Sara would say) Stab my husband for bringing home a new dog with out my permission ( I was in the ER mind you) But besides that little stress in my life all is well. I've been low carbing it the last few days and feel good already! I don't need anyone debating with me about low carb - it works for me! It makes me eat more, and more veggies too!!

Don't really have a game plan though as for working out LOL. I am however gonna workout at home. I actually was for a few weeks - we hooked up the basement with a nice gold's gym thing from walmart and got back out eliptical. Hubby put a tv down there so it really encourages me to go down there :yelrotflmao: It isnt so great if it really rainy out though - but I can always do a video if need me the case right? - right! Actually I was thinking of doing a fullbody 2xs a week, the 2xs a week a pilates video, pplus the eliptical. I don't know yet - but I want to set attainable goals. I figure by starting my diary backup it will make me feel obligated to post good news :)

The gym has a flat bench, incline, leg extention, a pull down bar for back and triceps. No cable rows though which saddens me. I also have free weights, and a stability ball. so yeah um - thats about it for now!!

So when are you starting NROL? :)
