shaping down

I'm 18 and have been lifting for a couple years, mostly benching and upper body. However, now I feel like my chest might be a littler bigger than I'd like...is there anyway i could reduce the size of my chest, like perhaps more reps less weight or just not benching and just doing push ups? thanks

is it all muscle, or do you have some fat you could lose to shrink the chest?

there's no real training method to reduce muscle mass...eating fewer calories (under maintenance) will help reduce size.

i'm pretty lean , i only weigh about 150 and i'm 5'11
i just think the chest has just gotten too big
and no, there's little fat on me, i just think that i've gotten the pecs too big to where they're a bit out of proportion with the rest of my upper body...as well as they're not as toned as they were when my chest was smaller
?

I agree. Rather than remove good pecs, train them less and work on shoulders, arms, lats, abs, and legs more to bring them more in-line.

I'd also ask a trainer at your gym if they think your pecs are over developed. Its very easy to get overly critical about your body, when it actually looks great to everyone else. Taht doesn't mean you don't need to improve still...but most people have a skewed self image.
