Maybe your standards are LOW!!!! ;) J/K... if I praise, it is always well deserved... and in your case, doing what you don't really like (weights), but still getting it down, deserves praise! Oh, and hate to spoil your fun, but I kinda like Cardio now! SSSSSHHHhhhh! Don't tell anyone that it doesn't have to be boring. ;) :D :)

Of course you can! And that excess stress SUCKS. I tend to turn into a very irritable, freaked out bitch when under stress (although all the Yoga prevents that nowadays!) I DO hope you can find time to DANCE off the stress because it's no good for you, Shandy! :angelsad2: Take care!

That sucks! In The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, the Irish Captain Mike played by Jared Harris asks Pitt's character, "Have you ever met your father?" and Pitt says "No," and Harris answers "Yah lucky BASTARD. All fathers want to do is drag you down." Now, I know plenty of fathers BUT I laughed my ass off at this. Couldn't help it! It was the delivery of the line, I think :D
 
Hey Shandy :) Was just stoppin by to say hi and catch up and say yet again I'm so glad you're back. And as for your dad I think you should be really nice and make him a big plate of cookies....using exlax instead of chocolate chips :D That should keep him busy for awhile and not in your hair or talking behind your back to the rest of the family, lol.
 
Hey Val, thanks for stopping by! the other day I was so stressed/pissed that I honestly couldn't dance. I just kept getting more and more frustrated and annoyed. that tell you just how bent out of shape I was? damnit.
But all is well now. My uncle Dex talked with my father and somehow managed to tactfully tell him to STFU. so with any luck I won't have to deal with my father trying to play marriage councelor anymore. Now I just have to get his short stories and book edited and he'll leave me alone for a while.

Lisa-:smilielol5: you crack me up chica. exlax cookies. now that would be awesome. if not for the fact that I know my little sister Mari is in charge of cleaning the bathroom. :ack2:
 
Glad to hear that your dad is calming down. Funny how family can be more harsh than strangers most of the time. I've got a friend I've known for 20+ years who is a single mom with 5 kids thats going through some really hard times, but do you think her parents can be supportive and help her out. Of course not. They just like to bitch and moan about what she's doing wrong and yadda yadda . Total BS. They just want to make themselves feel better by beating down probally the sweetest person on earth (Sad). They should just mind there own lives first before commenting on others. Screw'em!!

On more important news: Great to see you back kiddo! And fantastic work! You look (as always) fantastic! I'd send you a snuggie to keep warm but they dont ship to Italy. but they probally have something simular over there to keep ya warm. Funny I'm sort of going through the same things wiht my wife about because im losing weight I "MUST" be cheating on her. LOL, I was like, ok when? Get up goto work, get home, goto gym, sleep, wash rinse repte cycle. Sigh, but it will be fine as will you and Matt. :)

So, I just got some of the best news (other than when I found out when Matt's coming home of course). We just got our leave approved for April. Pompeii, Belgium, Sardinia, possibly Rome.....YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Add to that we've got another couple that's interested in going to Venice with us durring Matt's 2 weeks of R&R when he gets home. I'm FINALLY getting some traveling done! hell I lived in Englad for over 3 years and never went farther than London. sad, huh? But yeah. TRAVELING IN EUROPE!!!!!!!! FINALLY!!!!!!!!!!!!

So, not only was that news awesome and amazing. but I stepped on the scale just a minute ago and guess what....I'm down a pound and a half! :D

Today is just turning out to be GREAT. and it's only 9:30 in the morning!!! I'm getting ready to do my pilates and mile tapes so hopefully that should keep my happy bouncy feeling going.

I chuckle everytime I see your bum too. well, yours and Kate's. don't know why I find yours amusing when the other ones aren't....maybe the angle? I feel like a little school boy looking up some girls skirt. hense the giggles?
 
Shandyy! Oh my goshh congratulations! -- on the europe thing anddd the weightloss! It's going to be great! When you get to Belgium can you please eat a waffle for me? WITH EXTRAA SYRUP? omg soooo good. haha ok maybe just half a waffle since you're watching your calories ;) i joke, i joke.

Also though, good job with the weight! WOO! YOu are AMAZING!

Lux- I'm hoping to be down to my goal before we head to Belguim, so I should be able to eat that whole waffle in your honor. though I'll have to plan accordingly. waffle on one day, chocolates for the rest of the time. :D

Mic-sure you can come with, just hop in my suitcase. :D We've got a bunch of people wanting to join us on our roadtrip. It looks like a bunch of the guys Matt's deployed with are putting in for leave in April too just so they can go with. Should make in entertaining. Nothing is more hilarious than a bunch of military cops on vacation together. Maybe I should get the first shirt's phone number before we go...just incase someone gets arrested.....
 
All I can say is I wish my bum looked like the one in the avatar! DAMN IT! I hope one day after I reach my goal it will!
