Shakes twice a day

What kind of shakes?

Protein shakes are just a conveint way to get protein. If i'm felling lazy and i don't want to cook and chicken, fish etc i would just have a shake.

Shakes are supposely very good for post workout nutrition however.
 
yeah I always have my shake after my workout but I was thinkin if I added 1 extra in as a breakfast or lunch whatever if it would help weight loss? Also sometimes I get lazy too and I'd don't feel like cooking.
 
Well you definitely don't wanna go on just a liquid diet. Not good for you at all. I tend to eat a meal then have a shake, and switch off throughout the day. Of course for me they're weight gainers and that's so i can gain some muscle. But for you, since you're trying to lose, if you get lazy sometimes just replace your meal with a shake. Don't do it for every meal though, make sure you get enough solid foods.
 
H :confused: ow about 3 shakes a day? is this too much. I've been having 3 a day for the past 5-7 years now along with my usual protein-rich 5-6 meals daily. Could I be gettin too much protein? some times I get the feelin that I am.
 
Shakes are great after a work out but make sure your getting some carbs to. If your in a rush just 2 slices of bread will do, but you need the carbs.

Dont bother with the high carb protien shakes tho they taste powdery and you dont get much protien. You'll be better with the bread
